2020 has been a very difficult year for so many and I am no exception but completing the virtual London Marathon this year has taught me a lot about my mental strength.
Such a different challenge to the previous 5 London Marathons Iโve run and although it was one of my slowest times, it felt like one of my greatest achievements! With no training and running the entire marathon completely on my own, it showed me that I can get through very difficult mental challenges, something that is going to play a big part in my life over the next few months.

The most unprepared Iโve ever been for a marathon, enjoyed the beer and wine while on holiday for the last two weeks a bit toooooo much haha ๐คฃ๐บ๐ท
Good luck to everyone running the virtual tomorrow, Iโll be running around London so hope to see many of you out there ๐โโ๏ธ

ON London Half Marathon cancelled today due to storm Dennis... ๐ง๐จ๐ง๐จ
Havenโt run on a treadmill for ages and I quickly remembered why, way better being out on the roads or in the forest, even when the weather is this bad!
Luckily I had some awesome kit from to keep me motivated and feeling good ๐โโ๏ธ

Throwback to the first ever marathon I ever did, still the toughest event I have ever run to this day!!! Iโve come a long way and have reduced that time by almost half, mainly due to the fact that I donโt need to stop at the medic tent every 5km like I had to in Kenya ๐
Iโm running the London Marathon again in April which will be my 12th official marathon but none has ever come close to challenging me as much as the ๐โโ๏ธ
Back then I never thought I would be where I am today and I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to be part of such a great cause and to have completed this amazing challenge!
A runner never forgets the first time they ever crossed the finish line of a marathon and I am no different, I will never forgot this moment!
