MATCH REPORT | DOUBLE DELIGHT FOR THE WARRIORS

It was another outstanding day as both grades produced dominant performances in challenging hot conditions, securing two well-deserved victories.

The effort, resilience and commitment shown by both squads was first class, with every player contributing to an excellent day for the club which was also a day that we sadly said farewell to one of our great leaders Chris “Wattie” Watkins who’s heading back down under to Australia.

The Reserve Grade continued their impressive form with another disciplined team performance. The forwards laid the platform, while the backs capitalised with some well-worked tries to complete a strong team victory.

Playing in difficult, hot conditions, both squads showed great character, fitness and composure to come away with two excellent wins.
While there is plenty to be pleased with, we know there’s still work to do, we’ll continue to build on these performances, keep improving our standards and prepare for another important weekend.
Next up we return home as we host Eastern Rhinos and Hemel Stags in another exciting double-header.

A huge effort from both grades on Saturday as we battled through tough, hot conditions to secure two hard-fought victories over London Chargers.

The squads are locked in as we make the short trip down the A406 to Chiswick for another huge double-header against the London Chargers.

This weekend is about more than just rugby league, the boys will take the field in support of our brothers Paul Quill and his son Tom, following the heartbreaking loss of Paul’s father this week.

We’ll wear the jersey with pride and play for each other, our club, and the Quill family.

Home and Away this weekend as we take on Hammersmith Hills Hoists RLFC away in Chiswick this Friday night and Brixton Bulls RLFC at Wasps FC on Saturday afternoon.

An outstanding attacking display today as we ran in 13 tries to secure a dominant 60-26 victory over Eastern Rhinos in the National Conference South.
After an evenly contested opening period we began to find our rhythm through strong yardage carries, quick ball movement and clinical finishing out wide. Once momentum swung our way we proved too powerful, crossing for 13 tries in an entertaining display of attacking rugby league.
Points were shared around the park with several players producing standout performances.
Tamati Gribble led the way with a superb hat-trick, while Leighton Ball also crossed three times in an impressive display on the edge.
Alex McMillan grabbed a brace as did Dom Stock while further tries came from Reiss Walker, Mohamed Hammad and Matt Ross.
The platform for the victory was laid through relentless effort in the middle of the field, allowing our outside backs and edges to capitalise on opportunities throughout the match.
Goal-kicking duties were shared between Reiss Walker and Conor Colman, with Walker landing 3 conversions from 11 attempts and Colman adding 1 from 2.
Massive respect to Pete and the Eastern Rhinos players who played with pride and kept fighting until the final whistle.
