July is my final month teaching postnatal and pregnancy yoga move on Thursdays in Bow. 💔 I’ve loved these classes - meeting you in your pregnancy and then getting to meet your baby for the first time. ❤️ I hope you’ll continue to join for these last five weeks.
I’ve already moved away from group hypnobirthing and have limited availability for private sessions (both yoga and hypnobirthing). I’m slimming my schedule down to work mainly school hours to lessen the juggle of family and work, and to prepare for a year of studies ahead (first counselling skills and then a Masters in counselling and psychotherapy.)
My daytime yoga schedule will continue as normal.

I returned to the UK yesterday, after three weeks away. I went home for sad reasons, to bury my sweet dad, but there was plenty of love and joy that filled the spaces between grief and emptiness. I was reminded of the fullness of my life, and how grateful I am for my family. We create our lives through the intentions we set and the actions we take, and these ripple out to affect everyone around us in so many ways. I truly don’t believe our effort to do kind and thoughtful things is wasted. May we all share the best of ourselves.
Thank you to all the lovely messages I received over the last few weeks. I was surprised how comforting they were, as I always imagined them to offer little light in the shadow of something so big…but they meant a lot to me. 🤍

These ginkgo trees are stunning. They line the street near me. I’ve been watching them unfurl their pretty green leaves since spring and now, in autumn, turn the most vibrant shade of yellow. Their fan-like leaves now covering the ground I walk over on my way to and from work. A reminder to look up, and down, to admire the beauty around me. No matter my mood or the thoughts in my head, these trees have come to represent a moment of gratitude. 💛
With the state of the world, I admit I’ve become cynical of many things, but as I’ve reconnected to my beliefs and spirituality, things have become clearer than ever. My instinct is louder - that gnawing knowing inside me that has been my guide all my life. A change has been stirring inside me for many years now and the time has finally come for me to go back to school. We’re also planning on adding an extension to our home, so that means I need to make some changes to my schedule. But only one. I love teaching yoga and hypnobirthing and will continue to do so, but I’ll be pausing my group hypnobirthing offerings for the time being to create a bit more headspace for these new things. I will still be taking private and semi-private hypnobirthing courses and workshops in the meantime. For now, November’s hypnobirthing course is my last one, at least for the next several months. I’m not shifting gears completely but rather adding another string to my bow of work that I do now, and I’m very much looking forward to it!

This little guy has started year five. When he was this small, there was no way I could teach postnatal yoga. I was tapped out, energetically, when it came to other babies. Once my two were in school I felt the return of my baby loving self again and postnatal yoga has been such a special class to teach.
Babies are the best, and it’s also nice to have a space where we can be next to them but focus more inwardly on ourselves. I’m often teaching with a baby in my arms so they can feel content and you can have some headspace (and a literal space to be with others, move, breathe and feel good.)
Join us every Thursday 11:00-12:00. đź’—
