💙 Southgate Leisure Centre is now a Community Help Point (CHiPs) location! 💙

We’re proud to announce that Southgate Leisure Centre is now officially part of the Community Help Point Scheme (CHiPs), helping to make our local community even safer, more connected and better supported.

A CHiPs location is a recognised safe space where anyone can come if they need assistance. Whether you’ve become separated from family or friends, need to charge your phone, require access to drinking water, need help contacting someone, feel vulnerable, or simply need support, our friendly team is here to help.

As a trusted community hub, we’re committed to being more than just a place to swim, work out or take part in fitness classes. We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel welcome, safe and supported whenever they need us.

Our trained team will be on hand to provide reassurance, practical assistance and, where needed, signpost you to the appropriate services. No matter the situation, we’ll always do our best to help.

Being part of the CHiPs network reflects our commitment to supporting the people of Southgate and the wider Enfield community, ensuring our centre remains a place where everyone feels they belong.

🌊💙 What an incredible Drowning Prevention Week at Southgate Leisure Centre! 💙🌊

This week was all about building confidence, learning life-saving skills, and helping our community stay safe in and around the water - and what a success it was! 🙌🏊‍♀️

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing swim teachers, who incorporated vital water safety skills into their lessons, giving swimmers of all ages the knowledge and confidence to make safe choices in and around the water🌊🛟

A special shoutout also goes to our fantastic NPLQ group, who gave brilliant demonstrations of first aid, lifesaving techniques, and aquatic safety. From rescue skills to CPR, they showcased the incredible training and dedication that goes into keeping our pools safe every day👏🚑❤️

We’re so proud to have inspired so many people to learn skills that could one day save a life. Thank you to everyone who got involved and helped make this week such a memorable one! 💙
