I want you to meet Laura.

Laura was already going to the gym. Already trying to eat fairly well. Already hitting her steps most days.

She still wasn’t seeing results — and if you’ve ever felt like you’re “doing everything right” and still not getting anywhere, you’ll know how frustrating that is.

When we started working together, Laura was honest about it: “Okay — but need to shift the extra pounds.” “Agree gym days and stick to it.” No excuses, just an honest read on where things had been slipping.

She’s got a hen do and a wedding this year — “once in a lifetime moments,” as she put it — and she wants to feel like her most confident self for both.

So here’s where we’re at right now: three structured sessions a week, and tracking food for the first time in a way that actually makes sense to her. No dramatic transformation photo yet — and I’m not going to pretend there is one. What’s actually changed is simpler than that: she’s gone from guessing to having a plan.

If that’s where you are right now — doing a lot right, still feeling stuck — this one’s for you.

Follow to see how Laura’s getting on.

You do not need to stop going for coffee to lose weight.

One coffee doesn’t ruin your progress. The real issue is usually feeling like you have no idea what’s actually in your order.

That’s exactly why I made the Coffee Shop Cheat Sheet — so you can walk into any coffee shop and order with confidence. Without guessing, without guilt, and without skipping the catch-ups and coffee dates that are part of your life.

This isn’t about restriction. It’s about making informed choices so coffee stays what it should be: something you enjoy, not something you stress about.

Comment COFFEE and I’ll send you the free guide.

So many women tell me the same thing: “I just need more motivation.”

Here’s the truth — motivation disappears. Habits don’t.

The women who get the best results with me don’t wake up excited every single morning. They’ve just built systems that don’t rely on how they feel that day.

Gym bag packed the night before. Workouts scheduled like an appointment, not an option. Protein prepped so decisions are already made. Environment set up so the easy choice is the right one.

That’s what consistency actually looks like. It’s boring. It’s not glamorous. It works.

Which habit has made the biggest difference to your fitness? Tell me below.

Comment your best habit.

I didn't build Train With Amba to help women get smaller.

I built it to help women get stronger.

Stronger in the gym. Stronger in their own skin. Stronger in the belief that they belong in that weights section just as much as anyone else in there.

Here's what I actually believe:

Strong > Skinny.

Confidence > Perfection.

Progress > Punishment.

Fat loss might happen along the way. That's fine. But it's never the point. The point is watching a woman walk into a gym feeling like she doesn't belong, and watching her walk out months later owning the place.

That's the whole philosophy. That's why this page exists.

Emma just hit one year of coaching — and I need you to understand what that actually means.

One year ago, she came to me with a post-partum back injury that had never been properly addressed, no confidence in the gym, and no idea how to use the equipment. She was juggling work and motherhood and trying to carve out any space for herself in the middle of it all.

Today, she walks into the gym, does a full workout, and leaves feeling strong.

Not because it was easy. Because she showed up — through the back injury, through the busy weeks, through everything life threw at her — and she kept going.

And that’s a result no scale could ever measure. I’m coaching women to trust themselves in spaces they used to feel they didn’t belong in.

Emma, I’m so proud of you. One year of showing up. This is what that looks like.

Imagine where you’ll be in a year if you start today.

Every week, without fail, a woman apologises to me for wanting to pick up the heavier dumbbells. “I don’t want to get too bulky.”

Let’s clear this up: no Karen, you are not going to accidentally wake up looking like an Olympic bodybuilder because you picked up an 8kg dumbbell twice a week.

That “toned” look you’re after isn’t more cardio. It’s muscle — built on purpose, over years.

And the women who actually get there aren’t chasing a smaller number. They’re chasing their first push-up. Their first pull-up. Their first deadlift off the floor.

That’s the goal. Welcome to Strong Girl Era.

If you’ve had enough of diet culture telling you to get smaller — you’re in the right place.

I spent years thinking smaller was the goal. Smaller waist. Smaller portions. Smaller space in the room.

Turns out the goal was never “smaller.” It was stronger.

This is Train With Amba — I coach women 25-45 to stop dieting and start lifting, building muscle, and becoming genuinely capable in the gym. Confidence isn’t a mood. It’s a skill you build one rep at a time.

If you’re tired of shrinking, you’re in the right place. Follow along — this is just the start. 💪

For years I thought the goal was smaller.

Smaller waist. Smaller portions. Smaller appetite. Smaller space to take up in a room I was scared to be in.

I don’t think that’s the goal anymore. I think the goal is strength — not because it’s trendy, but because it’s the only thing that’s ever actually changed how I feel about myself. Not the scale. The barbell.

This is what Train With Amba is built on. Not detoxes. Not punishment. Not shrinking. Building.

If that’s the kind of coach you’ve been looking for — I’m here. Follow along. 🤍
