The is one of the world’s toughest. Runners battle high altitude, snowy trails and each other in a race that pushes everyone to the limit.
The 2026 edition saw 217 runners from across the world take part. Among those was Katy White-Marsh, the winner of the INOV8 x ‘Natural High’ competition. Her prize was a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Nepal to race the marathon.
But, for Katy and many others, this was about far more than a finishing time and position, this was about experiencing one of the world’s most incredible races amid a famous mountain setting steeped in history.
We had a catch-up with Katy post-race to find out more about her experience.

To celebrate Global Running Day 2026 we asked our trail athletes and ambassadors a simple question - Why do you run?
For some, it’s a return to simplicity to clear the mind.
“It makes me feel in control and clears my head, and is something I can feel proud of.” -
For others, it’s about getting into the hills with their best friend.
“I do all of my best thinking whilst moving and enjoy the headspace, freedom and the beauty of the great outdoors with Murphy the dog.” -
Why do you run?

AN INVITATION TO RUN DIFFERENTLY
INOV8 ambassador and friend of the brand has made an ultra running documentary, done differently.
It speaks to why we run, what it gives to us, and why connecting with nature is so incredibly powerful for us as human beings.
We caught up with Tommy, as well as Max Morrison – the film’s director – for a Q&A to find out more about the message and production.

Update: Unfortunately Nicky had to abandon her attempt early due to dangerously strong winds across the mountain ridges. We’re sure she’ll be back 👊
The legend that is Nicky Spinks will tackle a Double Ramsay Round in the high mountains of Scotland this weekend.
The inspirational INOV8 ambassador wants to celebrate 20 years of life, following a breast cancer diagnosis in 2006.
She aims to run two loops of the classic 58-mile, 24-peak route - including two visits to the summit of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain - totalling a monstrous 57,00ft (17,000m) of ascent.
Nicky previously ran an ‘alternative’ Double Ramsay Round in July 2018 in 55hrs 56mins. On that occasion her turning point between loops was in the mountains.
This time she wants to run a full anticlockwise loop from Glen Nevis, before turning around and doing it all again clockwise.
Nicky said: “My aim is firstly to finish and hopefully in less than 48 hours, but it would be nice to go faster than my double in 2018.
“However, this is an extremely hard challenge for me. I’m older and not as fast. I know this will test my current physical and mental ability to the maximum.
“It’s 20 years since I had cancer and I want to celebrate and challenge myself. During those 20 years I’ve run a lot of big challenges. I am proud to have raised money and hopefully helped inspire other people too.”
For this weekend’s challenge, Nicky is raising money for cancer charity Odyssey and Galloway Mountain Rescue Team. You can donate here: https://donate.giveasyoulive.com/fundraising/double-ramsay-round-20-years-after-having-cancer
