Assistant Performing Arts Teacher

Apogee Stars Stage School is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Teacher to join our incredible team!

This role would be perfect for someone who is currently training in performing arts or has recently graduated from college. We’re looking for a true triple threat with training in singing, dancing and acting.

Your role will include:
✨ Assisting our teachers during classes
✨ Supporting children with choreography, singing and performance skills
✨ Demonstrating and copying routines alongside the teacher
✨ Encouraging and building confidence in our young performers
✨ Assisting children with trips to the toilet when required
✨ Helping classes run smoothly and safely

Requirements:
⭐ Training in singing, dance and acting
⭐ Great with children and a positive, energetic attitude
⭐ A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
⭐ Available Friday afternoons and all day Saturdays
⭐️September start

Fantastic workshop we had from yesterday. The students participated in body conditioning at the beginning, learning choreo from mamma Mia the musical, and our olders also did an extra contemporary workshop. All worked extremely hard, well done everyone! These workshops were free with thanks to our PTA for our amazing fundraising this year. 💜

They build confidence, resilience, friendships, discipline and teamwork. They give children a place where they feel they belong, where they’re encouraged to work hard, believe in themselves and celebrate each other’s successes.

As children grow into teenagers, having positive role models, a supportive community and somewhere they genuinely want to be can make a real difference. It can help keep them focused, encourage positive choices and give them a safe environment to grow, learn and thrive.
