Croydon Sailing Club is based at Norwood Lake, Avenue Road, London SE25. Affiliated to the RYA, Croydon Sailing Club, is one of the few sailing clubs within London where there is an opportunity to sail with other enthusiasts and with an emphasis on friendly competitive racing and a growing number of non-racing sessions. We race all year round from 11:00-14:00, with additional social sailing sessions from 09:00-11:00 on Sundays and 18:00-20:00 on Wednesday evenings throughout the Summer.

Open Day tasters a big hit after a huge turn out for Annual Friends Event . All sailing time slots were taken . The club volunteers took 89 persons out onto the water on BH Monday and the weather was just perfect for a relaxing sail around the lake giving non sailors a chance to steer the boat in the favourable conditions . Lots of little ones with an adult , some keen youngsters taking the helm and interest from local adults who have always wanted to get out on the lake after seeing club racing at weekends. Croydon Sailing Club,formed in 1956, before the park was opened in 1969; is celebrating its 70th anniversary.
