We first ran our Abacos Bahamas trip in 2016 and it quickly became a real favourite. Then Hurricane Dorian hit in 2019 and devastated these islands.

It feels pretty special to be heading back to Great Guana Cay in March 2027.

The islands have been through a lot, and we’re really excited to be back, swimming in those beautiful waters and exploring the cays again.

We’ll be working again with Troy and Maria from Dive Guana - there’s no better team to show us the magic of this special place - what they don’t know about the Abacos isn’t worth knowing!

It’s been a long time coming, but SwimQuest Abacos is back! 🌴🌊

If you love swimming but aren’t quite ready for big distances, this is the perfect place to start.

Our Short Swims & Dips week is all about enjoying the sea, exploring beautiful coves and beaches, and building confidence in the water — with swims of just 0.5–1.5km and plenty of time for dips, sunshine, good food and a little coaching along the way.

Think turquoise water, white-sand beaches, sunrise swims, sundowners and a hotel right on the beach. And, of course, a friendly group of fellow swimmers to share it all with.
