The moment of the truth… by identifying the lithium ion cells inside the battery pack yet it’s not 100% accurate if you consider there is a chance that these cell can be re-wrapped to pretend a high end cell (very less chance).

In this case shown in the photos below, 2500mah Chinese unbranded cells are used in this battery pack to make a 48V battery. And that provides a nominal 12.5 Ah.

BUT!! Somehow it is labelled as 17Ah. It’s would be disingenuous to mislead or cheat the customers. And you may not event find out if no one help you to check this.

So never too late to learn-
ALWAYS buy from legit sources especially dangerous goods like lithium ion batteries.
