⚽ Coach Wanted: Development Coach – Edgware

📍 Location: Barnfield Primary School, HA8 0DA
🕒 Training: Wednesdays
• 17:00 – 18:30 / 18:30 – 20:00

👥 About the Role

We’re looking for a Development Coach to lead sessions for young players aged 5–12 at our Edgware Training Centre.

You’ll have the flexibility to:
• Run two back-to-back sessions (5–8 yrs & 9–12 yrs), or
• Deliver one mixed session (smaller group, mixed abilities)

As numbers grow, sessions can be split further or supported with additional coaches.

All sessions take place on a quality 4G pitch ⚽

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, engaging, and structured sessions
• Adapt coaching to different ages and abilities
• Support player development in a positive environment
• Communicate with parents and coaching staff
• Assist with progression and talent identification

✅ Requirements

• FA Level 1 (minimum)
• First Aid Certificate
• Safeguarding Children Certification
• Enhanced DBS (support available)

🎙'Great friendly match with great resilience shown

Our team rebounded quickly from the tournament exit and had a great game on Friday.

We had a tough start facing strong pressure during the first 5 minutes. However, the team found their ground and started to connect with their teammates.

We created chances in the back and forth game and converted quite some of those.

The boys closed the gaps and worked hard with each other to eliminate the options of our opponents.

Both teams worked hard last night and there are no quiters on the pitch! Keep it up for all the boys and improve our game together!' Coach Jason

🎖 Enfield Rangers FC Tournament

🎙'A difficult day for our U10s at the Enfield Rangers FC Summer Tournament, as we exited at the group stage despite showing many positive signs throughout the competition.

The boys connected much better as a team, moved the ball well, and created several good chances. Unfortunately, football can be a game of fine margins, and despite the opportunities we created, we were unable to convert them into goals.

At the same time, a few mistakes across the games proved costly. That's the reality of football, sometimes one moment can change the outcome of a match.

What matters most is how we respond. We have complete confidence that our players will learn from these experiences, regain their confidence in front of goal, and continue developing both individually and as a team.

Every setback is an opportunity to grow, and every challenge helps build stronger players and stronger characters.

Heads up, boys. Keep working hard, keep believing, and keep trying. Your time will come.' Coach Jason

A fantastic start for England in the FIFA World Cup, securing an important victory against a strong Croatian side.

England showed great attacking quality, determination, and resilience to come away with all three points in an entertaining match. The team demonstrated why they are considered one of the tournament favourites, while Croatia once again proved to be a difficult and competitive opponent.

👏 Congratulations to England on the win and respect to Croatia for their effort and fighting spirit.
