One year on - the New Forest gravel track half-marathon was more of a quagmire this week!

Great way to kick off training for the double marathon month I’ve set myself for April to raise money for

I’ll be doing the Brighton Trail Marathon with followed by the two weeks later.

creates spaces where people of all neuro diversities and abilities create performance art that challenges preconceptions and widens horizons. Funding in the current climate is tighter than ever and it’s an absolute life line for adults, young people, children and their families.

Given I have a gloriously neurodiverse son who loves to run (away from school rather than for the fun of it sadly!) it’s a fitting fundraiser.

Happy Halloween 🎃 gott LOVE Wye for putting on such a show every year.

I love that the vicars were dressed up in Traitors outfits and running an open house in our beautiful church. They do community SO well ❤️

Another wonderful, warm and welcoming weekend with for their epic Jurassic Coast race. It wasn’t quite the ultra I was hoping to do - but two months after being totally injured and off running I did manage to get a cheeky short race in, two saunas a cycle and a gorgeous wild rainy sea swim today.

Cheeky little Dymchurch to Deal mid-week cycle ride has certainly fixed the post-Ibiza blues!

Happy first of August…coldest day for months! Vaguely tempted by the fire. Instead had the most lovely ride and blackberry picking, pie and bbq…turned out rather summery after all ☀️

Blackberry foraging at the beach in July…this is such an unusually hot spring and summer. The fruit trees and bushes have no idea what to do. We’re making the most with sausages on the beach, evening playtimes on the groins and the joys of an entire article read by me.
