What are the physical, mental and social benefits of practising martial arts? And what makes Wing Tsun unique?
Drawing on findings from neuroscience, psychology and exercise science, this short film explores how training can benefit both body and mind, while fostering confidence, resilience and meaningful human connections through shared practice.
Filmed at Wing Tsun London’s Greenwich school, this video was created by Si-Hing Gergely Jancsikity, Head Instructor of the Greenwich school, and filmmaker Bence Kaposi to raise awareness of the benefits of martial arts training and Wing Tsun specifically.

Two teachers from Wing Tsun London recently delivered 4 hours of practical women’s self-defence training to a group of young mothers in East London.
The initiative, called Mums&Lil 1's Self-defence class, was organised by two dedicated local mums through their community-funded group, created to support women on maternity leave who often feel isolated from sport and physical activity due to limited access to childcare.
With a crèche on site caring for their young children, the women were able to fully engage in learning essential self-defence skills, building confidence, awareness, and personal safety in a supportive environment.
A wonderful example of community collaboration, empowering women through accessible training and support. 🙏🏼🐉💪🏼💃🏽
