The brilliant Jenny Thompson is about to publish her book Her World Cricket Tour - describing her adventures going round the world promoting women's cricket, even in venues as unlikely as East Timor and Mongolia. Aside from her writing, Jenny also holds a bit of Allstars history - on her appearance for us all the way back in 2006, she became one of only two Allstars to take a wicket with her first ball for the club. Her book will become available both in the UK and Australia this October, and has won praise from no less than former Aussie women's captain Alyssa Healy - an inspiring addition to the Allstars' Christmas cricket book list 😃 🏏
