AERIAL AT Hackney Moves!!!
What made this moment even more special is that this was a Hackney Moves FIRST 🖤
To bring aerial movement into a festival space like this - especially as a Black q***r female-led studio - felt powerful, emotional and honestly surreal. Watching people stop, stare, engage, ask questions and witness aerial arts in this environment reminded us exactly why representation and accessibility matter.
At The Body People we’ve always wanted to merge fitness, performance, freedom and play… and this felt like such a beautiful example of that vision coming to life.
Thank you to everyone who watched, supported, cheered us on and trusted us to bring something different 🫶🏽
