The 2s are away to Finchley Cricket Club looking to continue their form after 3 consecutive wins. Puneet returns and Kusal Subasinghe makes his 2nd XI debut👏🏽

The 3s are away to Ealing Cricket Club 4s aiming to all but confirm safety in Div 1 after their last couple of wins. Rye returns with the gloves as does Chirag, Neel, Vijay and Devesh🙌🏽

The 4s host Friends United Cricket Club looking to bounce back from defeat last week and finish as high as they can in the league table this season. Roshan, Rishabh, Ravi and Mahmudullah all return👊🏽

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to move the date of our Curry-Oke to the final day of the season, 5th September 2026! It will now be combined with our end of season celebrations!🎉

All of you now have an extra week to perfect those vocals!🎤

SATURDAY’S RESULTS‼️
A 30 point gameweek for the club🥳

The 1s were away to Brentham CC 🏏 and it was the returning Viraj who hit his 3rd ton of the campaign, 2nd vs Brentham to make it 273 runs vs them this season at an average of 136.50. He was supported by Owen’s 76 to help the 1s up to 247. Prits got the defence underway with his first ball. Skipper Dyls then picked up 2 to reduce BCC to 30/3. Charlie got in on the action before Hem’s 4-fer as well as run outs from himself and Owen bowled them out for 181. Win by 66 runs💪🏽

The 2s hosted Stoke Newington Cricket Club 2s and were batting. A 183 run opening partnership between Sohail and Ced set the tone before Ced was dismissed for 51. Sohail continued the charge with 130 (114) and a handy 33 from Chich helped the 2s to 300. Abhishek with the new ball yet again with 2, before starboy Devm got 2 himself. The man with the Midas touch Sohail broke the big partnership and then ended with 5 to clean up the SNCC tail. 264ao. Win by 36 runs👏🏽

The 3s hosted Highgate Cricket Club in a genuine 20 pointer at the foot of the table. Jameel and Zaki both took 4-fer, and Pranav also took 2 to bowl Highgate out for 261. Samit and Karsh got the chase off to a flier with their 30’s before Dan (61) really brought the chase in our favour. After he was dismissed, it was Jameel with the bat this time with 42* to bring the boys home, sealing it with a huge 6. Win by 3 wickets🙌🏽

The 4s were away to Stoke Newington Cricket Club and after a good piece of fielding by Naseer, a big partnership brought the game away from us. 4 wickets at the back end for Rosh Madhaparia but SNCC racked up a big 330. The chase didn’t start well, losing 3 early wickets but Sahil and an injured Rosh gave it a good go. The target was too steep and we fell short. Loss by 88 runs.

A successful week to back up last week’s 44 pointer! Still more points to be collected in the coming weeks and we’ll do our best!

Sohail Butt Sohaail Butt with 130 (114), hitting 15 fours and 6 sixes for the 2s as they posted 300 in 45 overs vs Stoke Newington Cricket Club 🐐
Not only this, Sohail also took 5-43 in 7 overs to win the game for the 2s. The coolest man in the Alan Digby Ground 😎

Viraj Patel with his club record-breaking 3rd MCCL century of the season for the 1s as he hit 117 (132). V hit 11 fours and 3 sixes to help the boys post a match winning 247😮‍💨

Owen O’Neill-Khaled for his 76 (73) for the 1s including 5 fours and a six👏🏽

Cedric Mendes Cedric Mendes hit 51 (67) for the 2s in his 183 run opening stand with Sohail. Ced hit 4 fours and 2 sixes on his way to his half century🙌🏽

Danushka Lazarus Dan Lazarus with 61 (56) for the 3s in their win vs Highgate Cricket Club hitting 8 fours and 2 sixes👊🏽

Sahil Goswami Sahil Goswami with 58 (48) for the 4s, his 2nd half century of the season, hitting 7 fours and 2 massive sixes💪🏽

Roshan Madhaparia with 56 (80) for the 4s in their game away to Stoke Newington Cricket Club 3s, hitting 8 fours. His first half century for the club👏🏽
Rosh also took 4-63 in 9 overs with the ball👏🏽
