Everyone starts somewhere but it takes someone who believes in you to trust the process and continue guiding them until they get it right and not give up on themselves 🧠
I train every day people who’s never stepped into a ring. The approach requires a solid blueprint and a lot of patience to allow the individual to stat consistent and become more self aware until they adapt to the new skill 🥊
One thing about me as a coach is that i won’t sugar coat it too much. I’ll make sure to point out what you need to work on and then drill it until we get it right.
This class allows individuals to be fail forward without feeling embarrassed and become more aware in what they need to work on as we progress through the programme.
Keep in mind, this is a session where i get a lot of drop in clients and everyone gets the same level of adaptation without feeling pressured into making everyone else feeling held back ✊🏼

Highlights from the JAB x FLY® fight night event 🥊
Words can’t describe how incredibly proud i am of these men for dedicating the time to learn the art of boxing despite never stepping into the ring and showcasing how much they’ve grown whilst performing in front of their friends & family 🌱
It takes a lot of courage to decide that you’re going to step way outside your comfort zone and participate in a sport where you genuinely don’t “play” for the fun of it.
The biggest takeaway is seeing everyone go from misfit brawlers from the beginning of the camp to genuinely retaining the fundamental skill of boxing which allowed everyone to box the way needed to box ✊🏼
As a coach, I couldn’t be any prouder for everyone’s first time stepping into the ring ❤️

Highlights from today’s train class with
Being able to join a class during my break at work has a luxury to keep me humble but at the same time, ease myself into rebuilding my strength to what it used to be pre knee surgery ✊🏼
Big love to my sis for keeping me hyped up during to process 🥳
Snatching 30kg DB’s for my last working set has been interesting- different feedback compared to the Kettlebells so will definitely be working on that more 📈
