at the end of this course you will sit a CYQ assessment. Essential Matwork course can be studied by attending one weekend per month for 8 months combined with homestudy, plus to make training more accessible we also run a School Run Friendly week day course, within school hours (10 - 1.30) so you can fit your study in around your family commitments. The course content will be taught by layering information, learning on your own body, analysing the exercises, studying the body anatomically and understanding posture and movement patterns. Time will be taken observing, assisting and practising your teaching skills so when you graduate this course you will feel confident working in different environments offering classes from basic beginners to super advanced. In total the courses will provide approximately 200 hours of direct contact time. You will also be expected to do regular home study, to include homework assignments, lesson preparation, e-learning, and 50 hours self practice and 50 hours teaching practice with an experienced teacher.
