The WI plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

Check us out on the front cover of the WI membership leaflet, with our summer Croquet and Picnic being just one of our brilliant events.

We're open to new members and joining information can be found on our website at:-

Our meeting this month was about the constellations which the star signs are based upon. It was a fascinating talk by astronomer, Tom Kerss, and just another reason why you should join your local girl gang.

The WI has over 6,500 branches offering a wide variety of activities to women across the country.

If you haven't already done so, please remember to renew your subscription for 2020, and if you would like to join us at East Dulwich WI, then please drop the committee an email at:-

Plastic Free East Dulwich do great work in our area, with their amazing efforts leading to East Dulwich being awarded the first "Plastic-free" community status in London. Please help and contribute to their crowd-funding campaign so the group can continue to rid our community of single-use plastics.

This is also a long-standing WI campaign from 1971, and we support and appreciate the work of Ric Baldock and his team.

Please help if you can! πŸ’š

Please help!! We need another £500 of pledges before the end of the week. If we get that will pledge £1,000😁if not we get nothing😩Any contributions greatly appreciated to help us continue to work to rid our community of Link below:
