Your Haringey Huskies are delighted to welcome Richie Pickering to Alexandra Palace for the 2026/27 season.

Richie arrives with experience across both NIHL1 and NIHL2, having previously iced for Romford, Chelmsford and Lee Valley throughout his senior career.

A physical defenceman who plays with an edge, Richie brings toughness, reliability and valuable experience to the Huskies blue line. He’ll also be a familiar face to several members of the squad, having previously shared the ice with a number of them during his time in NIHL1 and NIHL2.

🍁 🐺 IMPORT GANAS RETURNS 🐺 🍁

Your Haringey Huskies are delighted to confirm the return of import forward Matthew Ganas for the 2026/27 season.

After an injury disrupted season in Haringey colours, Matt returns with unfinished business. Surgery and a longer than expected recovery limited him to just 10 appearances, but he still recorded 3 goals and 4 assists while showing the quality that made him such an exciting addition to the squad.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Matt was selected by the Barrie Colts in the 2003 OHL Priority Draft before going on to play four seasons in the OPJHL. Since moving to the UK, he has established himself as a proven NIHL2 performer.

A physically strong, versatile forward capable of playing anywhere across the lineup, Matt brings experience, skill and a calm presence.

Now fully fit and ready for the new campaign, we’re excited to see what Matt can achieve over a full season with Huskies.

🐺 NEW SIGNING: CHRIS BECKETT 🐺

The Haringey Huskies are delighted to welcome Chris Beckett to the pack for the 2026/27 season.

A product of the Chelmsford junior system, Chris arrives with valuable NIHL 1 experience, where he iced alongside current Huskies Jaden Boolkah, James Pentecost, and Petr Cech.

Chris most recently represented Oxford while studying at university, enjoying an impressive campaign last season with 30 points, underlining his eye for goal and offensive instincts.

Coming from a strong hockey family, Chris is still only 21 years old, but already brings valuable NIHL 1 experience, a proven scoring touch and exciting potential. We’re delighted to welcome another talented young player to the Huskies and look forward to seeing him continue his development in Haringey colours.

🐺 SPRINGER HUGHES RETURNS 🐺

Your Haringey Huskies are delighted to confirm the return of Ruskin Springer Hughes for the 2026/27 season.

Ruskin enjoyed an outstanding campaign in Husky colours last season, leading the team in scoring with 24 goals and 29 assists. His performances throughout the year earned him the Huskies’ Top Points Scorer award, while his impact across the league was recognised with selection to the NIHL All-Star Team.

A dynamic forward with a knack for producing big moments, Ruskin combines skill, vision and a relentless work ethic every time he steps onto the ice.

We’re thrilled to have one of the league’s standout players back at Alexandra Palace and look forward to seeing Ruskin continue his success in Huskies colours.

🐺 LIDDELL JOINS THE PACK 🐺

Your Haringey Huskies are delighted to welcome Jordan Liddell to Alexandra Palace for the 2026/27 season.

Jordan brings a wealth of experience to the Huskies lineup, having played senior hockey across both NIHL1 and NIHL2 following successful junior spells with Nottingham, Coventry and Peterborough.

A true utility player, Jordan is capable of playing wherever he’s needed and has consistently shown an ability to contribute at both ends of the ice. His versatility, hockey IQ and team-first attitude make him a valuable addition to the squad.

With over a decade of senior hockey experience behind him, Jordan adds depth, flexibility and leadership to the roster as we prepare for the season ahead.
