What if the greatest investment you can make in your family isn’t something you can put on a shelf?

For Nii Nortey, it’s time spent together.

Through years of creating bespoke travel and hospitality experiences, Nii has seen first-hand how travel can bring people closer — from multi-generational family trips to milestone celebrations and unforgettable experiences around the world.

But his story is about more than travel.

It’s about recognising the value of creating experiences, building meaningful connections and turning a genuine passion into a career and business.

At BYP Leadership Conference 2026, Nii will share his perspective on the journey behind his work, what he has learned along the way and why the experiences we create can sometimes be more valuable than the things we accumulate.

Some careers are defined by how far you go. Others by how well you adapt to everything that changes along the way.

Marcia McFarlane’s career is a powerful example of what it means to evolve with the world of work.

From insurance and risk management to digital transformation, innovation and strategic partnerships, Marcia has built a career around navigating complexity, leading change and helping businesses prepare for what’s next.

But her journey is about more than professional achievement. Throughout her career, she has championed leadership, inclusion and creating opportunities for others, supporting emerging professionals to build confidence, navigate career transitions and recognise their own potential.

That perspective matters in a world where industries are changing, career paths are evolving and the skills that got us here may not be the ones that take us forward.

We’re delighted to welcome Marcia McFarlane, Digital Risk Services Lead at Beazley to the BYP Careers Fest 2026.

A conversation about career growth, navigating change and the lessons that can help you build a career with confidence.

Some careers are about more than what you do. They’re about the difference you can make.

That’s what makes this year’s BYP Careers Fest particularly meaningful.

As BYP Network celebrates 10 years of connecting Black professionals with opportunity, we’re bringing ambitious talent and leading employers together to explore what’s possible when skills, purpose and opportunity meet.

We’re delighted to welcome Macmillan Cancer Support back to BYP Careers Fest 2026.

Macmillan Cancer Support is working to make cancer support fairer and more accessible, recognising that people’s experiences can differ because of ethnicity, culture, language and where they live.

Their work with Black and ethnically diverse communities — from creating spaces for more open conversations about cancer to improving access to information, support and clinical trials — demonstrates the value of listening to communities and ensuring their experiences are reflected in the services designed for them.

That same commitment to representation extends to their people. Macmillan is building a more inclusive workforce that reflects the communities it serves, creating opportunities for individuals to bring different perspectives, develop their careers and make a meaningful impact.

Because when you can see yourself represented, you can see what’s possible.

This September, discover organisations where your career can be about more than progression, it can be about purpose, impact and creating change.

What happens when organisations have more data than ever, but don't truly understand the people behind it?

For Larna Bernard-Quashie, that question has shaped more than three decades of work at the intersection of economics, customer insight, behavioural research, technology and social impact.

An economist by training and strategist by practice, Larna has built a career helping organisations make better decisions by looking beyond the numbers to understand what people need, how they behave and what drives meaningful change.

Her experience spans customer experience, market intelligence, digital transformation and strategy across financial services, energy, commodities, manufacturing, software, fintech and the water sector.

But the bigger question behind her work is one that every organisation should be asking:

Are we simply measuring people, or are we actually understanding them?

Larna challenges conventional thinking about the relationship between data and humanity, innovation and inclusion, and business success and social responsibility.

We're delighted to welcome Larna to the BYP Leadership Conference 2026, where she’ll bring decades of experience and a perspective that asks us to think differently about how we use insight, technology and innovation to create value for people and organisations.

Because the most powerful innovation begins with listening.

A CAREER CHANGE DOESN’T ALWAYS REQUIRE A CLEAN SLATE.

Sometimes, the skills that got you here are exactly what can take you somewhere new.

For Edward Enejoh , that perspective sits at the heart of career reinvention, technology and professional growth.

As a Technology Career Strategist | Project Management Professional | Founder, Edward has built a career spanning management consulting, entrepreneurship, technology and digital transformation.

His journey offers an important reminder: career reinvention isn't always about starting again.

It's about recognising the experience you've gained, understanding how your skills translate and knowing how to position yourself for what comes next.

Because sometimes, the next opportunity isn't about becoming someone different.

It's about recognising the value of who you've already become.

We're delighted to welcome Edward Enejoh to BYP Careers Fest 2026, bringing his experience and perspective to conversations around career reinvention, future skills, technology and building your next opportunity.

Doing excellent work is only part of building a lasting career.

At some point, the question becomes: how do you make sure your value is understood beyond the work you deliver?

For Sarah Adenaike, that question sits at the intersection of leadership, expertise and visibility.

As a Chief Compliance Officer | Bestselling Author | Speaker, Sarah has built a career that requires both deep technical credibility and the ability to influence, communicate and lead in high-stakes environments.

Her journey is a reminder that professional reputation isn't created by a job title alone.

It is built through how you show up, the trust you earn, the perspective you bring and the value people associate with your name.

We're delighted to welcome Sarah to the BYP Leadership Conference 2026, bringing her experience and perspective to a community of ambitious professionals and leaders.

Some careers are built by following a path. Others are built by spotting where the path hasn't been created yet.

For Rumbi Mtsambiwa, strategy, technology and entrepreneurship have come together to create a career shaped by curiosity, problem-solving and a willingness to look beyond the obvious.

As a Strategist | Startup Advisor | Technology & Leadership Expert, Rumbi brings a perspective that sits across business, innovation and leadership — helping people and organisations think more strategically about what comes next.

Because in a world where industries, technologies and opportunities are constantly changing, knowing what worked yesterday isn't enough.

You need to know what could work tomorrow.

Rumbi brings that forward-looking perspective to the BYP Careers Fest 2026, sharing experience that can help ambitious professionals think differently about their careers, their capabilities and the opportunities emerging around them.

Sometimes the biggest shift in your career starts with changing what you believe is possible.

For Shanara Hibbert, performance has never been about talent alone.

As an Executive Coach | TEDx Speaker | Four-Time National Triple Jump Medallist, Shanara brings together elite sporting experience and leadership development to help people understand what it takes to perform under pressure, build confidence and keep progressing.

Years of competing at a high level taught her lessons that extend far beyond sport:

How do you respond when expectations are high?
How do you recover when things don't go to plan?
And how do you keep performing when the pressure doesn't disappear?

Today, Shanara brings those lessons into her work with leaders and professionals, helping them develop the mindset and capability to perform with greater intention.

We're delighted to welcome Shanara to the BYP Leadership Conference 2026, bringing a perspective shaped by both elite performance and executive leadership.
