Todays bank holiday adventure. Walked a half marathon 🌊whistable herne bay coastline. A few days ago I decided to do the Cancer Research UK shine marathon night walk. Which is in a few weeks time 😂. I mean I've done the 3 peaks challenge I can walk a marathon right? The 1st part of 2026 was tough in so many ways, it left me questioning everything. Then my eye impacted my confidence in so many ways. So this is part of re building my confidence

I don’t really want to share this. 🤍
I'm quite a private person on social media, and I don’t often share the difficult or personal things I’m going through.
But I’ve learnt so much from this experience that I feel like there’s a reason to talk about it. And I realised how much this experience has affected me when I thought the lump on My eye had come back and I genuinely went in to full meltdown mode.
April to June was a really difficult time for me.
What started as an eye infection went on and eventually led to an operation to remove the lump that was left behind. I could have lost my sight 🥹
But physically was only part of it. Mentally, I was in a much darker place than I let people see. It affected my confidence, my work, my motivation & at times, how I saw myself.
I had pushed my body incredibly hard for a catwalk and, looking back, I had slipped back into patterns I thought I’d left behind.
I can’t say that caused what happened with my eye, but my specialist did talk to me about stress, pressure and what I was putting my body through.
It made me stop and really think.
I’ve learnt so much about listening to my body, knowing when enough is enough, what actually matters and, perhaps most importantly, about people.
Some people showed me incredible kindness when I was struggling, and I’ll never forget that. ❤️
As painful as some of it was, I’ve come out the other side feeling stronger, more grounded and with a very different perspective.
My health and my peace are not things I’m willing to sacrifice for a physique, an opportunity or anyone else’s validation. And honestly, I think this experience explains a lot about why I coach the way I do. Health has to come first.
I want women to build a strong body and a life they love — but not at the expense of their mental health, their relationship with food, their happiness or their wellbeing. Sustainable. Healthy. Balanced.
Because I’ve learnt first-hand that you can have goals, be ambitious and want to look your best without losing yourself in the process. And that’s a lesson I’ll carry with me for a very long time. 🤍

A client transformation is incredible.
But seeing how she feels about herself now? That’s the bit that gets me. 🤍
I’m so proud of my amazing client. 🥹
Not just because of the weight she’s lost, but because of everything that’s happened along the way.
She didn’t need another diet or to cut out everything she enjoys. She needed a plan that fitted around her life, the right support and someone keeping her accountable.
And she absolutely smashed it.
She’s built healthier habits, got stronger, gained confidence and stopped feeling like she was constantly starting over.
That’s what I want for my clients. Not just a different body, but to feel good in it. 🤍
And with September just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to get back to those simple habits — training, moving more, eating well and being consistent.
You don’t need to overhaul your life. You just need to start.
If you’re thinking “Yes, that’s exactly what I need”…
