Today is my birthday. šŸ„³šŸ¤

As a woman in her l40's I’ve never felt more comfortable in my own skin.

After years as a bikini competitor, I spent so much of my time picking my body apart, always chasing the next goal, the next level of lean or more muscle believing I’d be happier when I got there.

The greatest gift I’ve found hasn’t been a smaller waist a perfect body or a stage trophy. It’s peace.

Peace with my body. Peace with getting older. Peace with simply being me.

I rarely post modelling images now on my fitness account but this was my fav shoot from 2026 so far. Thank you Ang .creative. Modelling has helped me find peace with my body.

This photo captures exactly how I feel right now… calm, grateful, and free. (And yes, I climbed into a river in a dress while people watched and genuinely didn’t give a f . šŸ˜‚)

If getting older has taught me anything, it’s that confidence doesn’t come from looking perfect. It comes from accepting yourself, looking after your health & your body, getting stronger, and living your life without worrying so much about what everyone else thinks.

Here’s to another year of strength, freedom, good health, and embracing every version of me. šŸ¤

This client came to me feeling frustrated.

She’d always been active, but despite her efforts she was gaining weight, struggling with stubborn fat around her middle, dealing with plantar fasciitis in both feet, and felt like nothing she was doing was working.

I’ve kept her identity private at her request, but she’s kindly allowed me to share her incredible results and testimonial. šŸ¤

We didn’t look for another quick fix.

We focused on strength training, improving her nutrition, increasing daily movement, and building habits she could actually maintain.

Since then…

I’m absolutely loving being back to personal training.

Working in a small, private studio has reminded me why I fell in love with coaching in the first place. The chats, the laughs, the support, and most importantly… watching women become stronger, healthier and more confident every single week.

Seeing someone lift a weight they never thought they could, walk taller, have more energy, and start believing in themselves again is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

July is always a month of reflection for me. šŸ¤šŸ„¹šŸ™āœØ

It’s my birthday month, and it’s also been two years since I stepped away from competing after four incredible years on stage.

I don’t regret a single moment. Competing taught me discipline, resilience, and what I was capable of.

But the greatest thing I’ve achieved wasn’t a trophy or a physique.

It was finding peace with my body over the last 2 years.

For years, my body was measured against a criteria. Somewhere along the way, I started measuring my worth by it too.

Not anymore.

These days, I train because I want to be strong, healthy, and capable. I eat to nourish my body, not punish it.

And the biggest transformation wasn’t physical.

It’s that I’m more present. I laugh more. I have deeper relationships. I’m more patient, more connected, and I have more to give to the people I love. I finally feel at home in my own skin.

There is already enough pressure on women to chase the ā€œperfectā€ body. With skinny jabs & peptides comes even more pressure plus all the hormone changes in midlife.

So instead of chasing perfection, chase health. Chase strength. Chase energy. Chase peace. It feels amazing when you do!! ā¤ļø

Because when you stop trying to earn your worth through your body and start taking care of it instead, you don’t just build a healthier body…

You build a better life.

Healthy. Strong. Happy.

That’s the version of me I’m most proud of. šŸ¤
