This September at Fulham Reach Boat Club we’re opening our doors for an special environmental day on the banks of the Thames.

Join us on Friday, 4th September for an afternoon of sustainability-focussed activities and talks.

We’re hugely disappointed to have to make this decision, particularly as we were so looking forward to welcoming you all and celebrating with you. Thank you so much for your support, enthusiasm, and understanding.

We’re hopeful that this will be a postponement rather than a cancellation and are already looking at alternative dates.

We really hope we can bring Dock ‘n’ Roll to the riverside very soon!

A fun (and tasty) summer! ☀️

A highlight of our programme, FRBC’s Free Watersports Weeks are all about getting young people from Hammersmith & Fulham out on the water, building confidence, and trying something new - completely free of charge.

None of it would run as smoothly without the people who keep our participants fuelled and ready to go.

A huge thank you to Sam’s Restaurants for providing over a thousand meals across this summer’s Free Watersports Weeks!

🍽️ Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack for every student, every session - that’s a lot of energy for a lot of rowing, kayaking, boxing and workshops in between.

Your support means our young people can focus on what matters: learning new skills, staying active, and making the most of their summer on the river. Thank you for being such a brilliant part of our community. 🚣‍♀️💙

If you’ve got at least a year of previous experience (or have taken part in our Level One course), this is for you.

Over five days, our expert coaches will help you develop physically and technically, with an underlying focus on crew cohesion and big boat dynamics.

Fulham Reach Boat Club is an award-winning London rowing charity, is looking for a Duty Manager to be the friendly face of our club.

You’ll manage bookings for courses, private coaching and corporate events, run front-of-house operations, and support membership onboarding.

What we’re looking for:
🔹 Strong customer service, communication and organisational skills
🔹 Experience with bookings, enquiries or front-of-house work
🔹 Comfortable with Microsoft Office, CRM and booking systems
🔹 Proactive, solutions-focused, and great with people

What we offer:

Huge week at FRBC! 🚣‍♀️🙏

Last week we wrapped block two of our Accessible Learn to Row course, and our three participants progressed into small boats in their final session - brilliant progress in just 5 weeks.

A massive thank you to our volunteers, who make this all possible. And huge congrats to our newest rowers - welcome to the FRBC family! 🎉

The appetite for more has been amazing, so we’re already working on a Learn to Row 2, plus a route into our adaptive main squad for anyone keen to race.
