South East London Tennis

It started with a simple idea: tennis should be for everyone. Great coaching, welcoming courts and a place where anyone could pick up a racket and feel they belonged.

Back in 2013, we saw nearly neglected public courts at Ladywell Fields with so much potential. We believed they could become somewhere people came not just to play tennis, but to belong.

Together with Chris, Michael helped turn that idea into something real — getting people onto court, building programmes and growing a community one player at a time.

Children picked up their first rackets. Adults came back to the game. Beginners became regulars, players became friends, and coaches became part of something much bigger than tennis.

Today, thousands of people have played with South East London Tennis. Different ages, backgrounds and abilities, sharing the same courts and the same game.

​Summer tennis camps are officially HERE in SE London! Whether your child is holding a racket for the first time or leveling up their game, we’ve got a spot for them.

​👦 4–10 yo: 9am–12pm (Mon–Thu)
🎾 10–17 yo: 1pm–4pm (Mon–Thu)

Come and join the free tennis for adults and juniors at Catford Wanderers tennis club this Saturday 4th July 2 - 5pm. There’s a discount on the club membership and a discount on the coaching for anyone who joins the club. We have rackets to borrow if needed.
