Some things change with time…while others don’t change at all 🫠

I’ve been coming to Lavarone with my mom and dad since I was born, and I can tell you my love for this place has only grown.

So much so that growing up I’ve been wishing for ways to spend here more time, and make others discover this little gem too.

I have been hosting Wellness Retreats in Lavarone since 2019, and although now it’s me carrying a child in the backpack, I feel so grateful to have my mom and dad walking on these paths by my side still…just like in that first photo from 1991 🥹

So here’s to our 7th year of retreats which is just about to start 💫 We cannot wait to welcome new and old friend from all over the world here in Lavarone! xx

The precision of the instructions given were worth of a master teacher 😂 such a proud mama moment 💛

I know… finding any time (or space) to exercise when you have a little one isn’t easy. It’s like the mama-paradox:

“When you have the time you don’t have the energy - when you have the energy you don’t have the time” 🤷‍♀️

But “exercising” doesn’t have to be as complicated they make it sound. It doesn’t have to require special conditions or a lot of your time.

It can happen right here and right now.

Here are 5 examples of short but effective practices:

1️⃣ Pelvic Floor Activation — 2 mins whilst you brush your teeth

2️⃣ Diaphragmatic Breathing — 4 mins whilst the morning coffee brews

3️⃣ Spinal Mobility — 6 mins whilst your child naps or plays on the floor next to you

4️⃣ Hypopressives — 8 mins lying in bed just before you fall asleep

5️⃣ Upper Body & Neck Release — 10 mins, sitting wherever you are sitting right now

…wanna give this last one a try?!
Comment “UPPER BODY” and I’ll send it across.

Remember, what matters most is consistency over duration. Little and often is the way.

You’ve got this mama 💪 ✨

An easy one to write (though I wish I figured it out in my teens rather than my 30s) but it’s true. Money spent on your mental & physical wellbeing it’s always the best investment for me.

Whether it’s for…

- a yoga class
- a wellness retreat
- a massage
- an osteopathic/physio treatment
- counselling
- hypnotherapy
- a birth prep course
- a postnatal course
- an ayurvedic cooking book
- a mindfulness training
- a quiet stay in the woods

All of them made me happy.
And nourish me still.

…what else would you add to the list?

In case you’re scrolling too 🫠 here’s a little live for you pelvic floor, hips and spine Mama 🧡

How easy can 5 minutes slip by scrolling on the phone? 👀

I do that too. And the more time I have at hand, the longer I end up doing it for. Always, it leaves me feeling heavy, unhappy, and full of self judgment.

It’s so hard to break that pattern.

So here’s your reminder to maybe put the phone aside now, and take 5 minutes to yourself.

We often expect self-care to need a lot of our time, special conditions, or to create an instant transformation.

But sometimes the first shift is simply noticing.
How is your body feeling today?
How is your breath?
How are your thoughts?

That awareness matters.

Because we can’t respond to what we haven’t had a chance to notice.

And motherhood doesn’t always leave much room for noticing.

We become very skill at responding to everyone else’s needs (often before they’re spoken) while our own body quietly awaits.

Mama, 5 minutes count, and will always make you feel better, not worse.

A breath, a stretch. Whatever you do.
Your body will thank you back.

🙏 ✨

Ps. If you need inspiration on WHAT to actually do, send me a message and I’ll share with you a little sequence to try right away x
