From CPD to the court. 🏀🧠
Coach Isaac and Coach Noel took our coaching team through the practical side of game day — set-up, warm-ups, voice projection, communication and those little details that can make a big difference.
And of course, we had some of our younger Eagles there helping put the coaches through their paces too. 😅💙
Plenty of ideas, reminders and quick wins for our coaches to take into the new season.

Coaches CPD 2026 | The Eagles Coach 🦅🏀
Before the season starts, it’s important that we spend time on more than just basketball.
Coach Rhi, Coach Isaac and Coach Jan led our classroom sessions, taking the team through what it means to be an Eagles Coach — the standards we set, the way we communicate, our responsibilities around safeguarding, and the environment we want to create for every player in our programme.
Plenty of discussion, sharing, reflection and a few challenges along the way — all with one goal: making sure our coaches are ready to give our players the best possible experience this season.
And of course, no new season without some fresh Eagles stash 👕🦅

Coaches CPD 2026 🏀🦅
What a way to start the season.
Our coaching team came together for this year’s CPD day, sharing ideas, aligning on how we want to coach, and getting ready for another exciting year of Eagles Basketball.
We were two coaches missing from the photo, but this group is ready for the season ahead!
A huge thank you to all of our coaches for the enthusiasm, care, passion and commitment you bring to the programme and, most importantly, to our players.
There’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes before the first ball is even tipped… and we couldn’t be more excited to get started.

Media Day is a must-attend for all players selected for an Eagles team this season — with kit collection, official player photos, team photos and our whole club photo all taking place.
Make sure you know exactly what time you need to be at Meadhurst. ⏰
Check your kit pick-up time, photo time and whole club photo time before the day.
