As we reflect on a fantastic BDSA x London Youth Games Primary Dance Finals, we'd like to extend our sincere thanks to our judges, Olga Gandembul, Roman Sukhomlyn and Kelly Prouton.
Your time, expertise and encouragement helped create a positive and inspiring experience for every young dancer who took to the floor. By supporting events like these, you are helping to nurture the next generation of dancers and contribute to the future of our dance community.
A special thank you also to Olga and Roman for their wonderful guest performances, which were thoroughly enjoyed by the young dancers, their families and everyone in attendance. They were a real highlight of the day.
Finally, thank you to all of the organisers, volunteers and everyone working behind the scenes. Your dedication and hard work made this event possible, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.
Together, we're creating more opportunities for young people to discover, enjoy and thrive through dance.

The standard of performance throughout the competition was outstanding, and it was inspiring to see so many young dancers perform with confidence, creativity and passion.
Every finalist should be incredibly proud of what they achieved. Your hard work, dedication and enthusiasm for dance were clear to see, and you helped make this year's finals such a memorable celebration of young talent.
We hope this is just the beginning of your dance journey and that you continue to enjoy every opportunity to learn, perform and grow.
Well done to all of our winners, and to everyone who took part. You should all be incredibly proud.

Our Youth Advisory Board Member attended day 1 of the BDSA x LYG event!
Here’s what she had to say:
“Attending the London Youth Games event left me feeling inspired, fulfilled, and curious.
The importance of these opportunities for young people is not to be taken lightly. The joy on their faces, and the atmosphere created supporting their peers was unmatched. It just reminds me how much I love what I do, and what a gift that is.
Professionally, I have learnt about so many jobs in the arts over the years, and this learning never stops. As someone who loves organisation, networking, and facilitation; knowing there are jobs like this in the arts is really exciting.
Thank you to the BDSA and LYG for having me. I cannot wait to hopefully do this again next year, and to see what follows in my role as part of the Youth Advisory Board.”
