𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐬 - 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐩.

We are all incredibly proud of Caitlin, Ella, Laura and Gabri who represented Great Britain at the Women’s Baseball World Cup in Tainan this week. ⚾️🌍

This was the first time GB has ever participated, with a chance to compete against some of the very best in the world, including reigning champions Japan.

On the field the Mets had some excellent performances with Laura recording 4 hits and pitching 5 innings. Ella had 3 hits, including a double and also a sac fly. Caitlin pitched against the world champions Japan and played LF in two more games while Gabri played 4 games, catching in 2, and reached base safely twice. 💪

But they weren’t the only Mets in Tainan!

A massive shout-out to the players and wider Mets community who travelled to Taiwan to cheer them and Great Britain Baseball Women on from the stands. From London to Tainan, the Mets showed up! 🌍

⚾ FALL BALL IS BACK — and it’s for the kids.

Six Saturdays of youth baseball at Finsbury Park, 19 September – 24 October.

🔹 Ages 5–8 | Baseball4Beginners | 10:00–11:00 | £50
First swings, catching games and a lot of laughing. A grown-up joins in.

🔹 Ages 9–12 | Fall Ball League | 11:00–15:00 | £75
Two teams, two 75-minute games every week, plus training drills. Only 30 places.

No experience needed and no kit to buy — we provide everything, and every player gets a team t-shirt. All coaches are DBS checked. Grey baseball pants recommended; bring your own glove if you have one. BBF membership is required separately.

Six weekends of proper competitive baseball in North London from September 19th, finishing with finals on October 24th and 25th. Double-headers each weekend, Saturday OR Sunday.

🔹 MAJOR LEAGUE - NBL-D4 level players
🔹 MINOR LEAGUE - D5-B4B graduates

Teams are drawn from clubs across London and balanced for age (14+), experience and skill, so you'll get competitive games whatever level you're at.

£65 per player, and £10 off if you played with the Mets this year. Every player gets a 2026 Fall Ball tee in their team colours.
