So proud to see four former Lynx members representing Wandsworth in today’s London Youth Games 🤩🙌🏼. 18 London Boroughs entered the competition and the Wandsworth boys did really well, just narrowly missing out on the Semifinal. Congratulations everyone 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

A first-time visit to Granton Primary School today - so many lovely, talented children! Really impressed with how quickly everyone picked up the basics and they all improved massively during the session. Well done 👏🏼

Fantastic energy, great attitudes, and plenty of talent on display. We spotted some exciting potential and, most importantly, saw lots of smiles and a love for the game.

Congratulations to Amika, Dara and Vinsy, three former Lynx members who received awards at the recent Spencer Juniors Girls Under 14 End of Season Celebrations 🥳. Amika and Dara won the Players’ Player Awards in their respective teams and Vinsy won the Coaches’ Player Award. So proud of you girls, all your hard work and dedication is really paying off 🤩🙌🏼

We are delighted to announce that the Rosslyn Park Injury Trust (RPIT) has generously donated £5,000 towards Spencer Lynx’s annual running costs.

This partnership feels like a natural fit. Both organisations share a belief that sport should be accessible to everyone — and that when life’s circumstances threaten to exclude people from participating, eg through injury or socioeconomic barriers, practical support can make all the difference.

Using sport to open doors for those who might otherwise be left behind resonates deeply with the values of the RPIT. The Trust was formed in 1981 following a life-changing spinal injury sustained by a young rugby player at the National Schoolboys Sevens at Rosslyn Park. That moment gave rise to a mission: to ensure that sportspeople who suffer serious injuries receive the support they need to live fuller, more independent lives. The Trust also actively promotes sport among underserved communities, recognising that access to sport is a right, not a privilege.

Importantly, the RPIT welcomes grant applications from injured sportspeople across all sports — not just rugby. Grants are considered for specialist equipment to aid independence, rehabilitation programmes, and surgical procedures that can meaningfully improve quality of life.

The Trust operates with minimal overheads — almost every penny raised goes directly to beneficiaries, with trustees and administrators giving their time entirely on a voluntary basis.

Two fun sessions yesterday with the Year 4 children from Sudbourne Primary. So many talented, delightful children 🤩 and thank you to current Lynx members Ethan and Farida for helping out with demonstrations etc.

Another fun session this morning meeting the fantastic Year 4 students at Ark John Archer Primary. We love all the inspirational quotes inside the school, but with the football World Cup starting next week this one particularly caught our eye 😉
