Last week Q***r Tango London headed to Chatham as part of the Medway Pride Fringe Festival, where Sam Marcus gave a fantastic beginners class to some new dancers. I’m still not sure what Geana meant about ironing boards but I’m glad she (and everyone else) loved it! 😂

We start with an absolute beginners class - perfect for those who have never danced before or want to go over the basics. No need to bring a partner and we’ll get you learning both roles so you can dance with everyone!

After the class stick around for the milonga where we dance socially and you can put what you’ve learnt to action! A fabulous bar will be provided by Poco Loco

We are delighted to be joined by the talented Luis Orlando Martinez from Valencia. He will be circulating our milongas and taking some great shots of dancers (like you!) in the moment as you move around the dance floor.

For those more selfie minded, we’ll also have our POSING CORNER! 🤳🏽

With a full length mirror, a Dressing Up Box full of other people’s tango clothes, and a little imagination you too can create a NEW YOU!

AND if you like the clothes enough, you can take this NEW YOU out onto the dance floor - and then take the clothes home.

Join us on SATURDAY 30th May from Noon - Midnight at The Bishopsgate Institute, London EC2M 4QH for just £60. That’s 12 hours of tango!

For our day milonga we are joined by the legendary DJ Peggy Labronne from Paris.
In the middle of the afternoon we break for the amazing Manu Sans and Arno Plass to provide everyone with a workshop on the ‘Performance of the Milonga’. Then dance away till midnight with our milonga featuring QTL’s Golden Age DJ, Claudio Tedesco, in the Great Hall PLUS our intimate alternative dance room to give twice the options of music to dance to!
