Why Italian Tourism Rankings Are a Big Deception (and Reward the Worst Seas) Every summer we read the same old rankings: "Veneto and Emilia-Romagna are the most visited regions in Italy," or "Rimini is the queen of tourism." But if we stop to think about it, a huge paradox arises: how is it possible that the places with the least clear seas in Italy beat out paradises like Sardinia, Sicily, or Calabria? The answer is simple: official statistics don't measure beauty, they only measure human density. 1. The "Density per Square Meter" Trick Traditional rankings count "occupancy," that is, how many beds are occupied. If you take the Riviera Romagnola, you'll find a monstrous concentration of hotels, guesthouses, and beach resorts per square meter. It's a veritable factory of intensive tourism designed to cram millions of people into the same place. In the South and on the islands, this doesn't exist (fortunately). The coasts are wild, there are kilometers of nature reserves, cliffs, and public beaches where the law prohibits construction. With fewer hotels per square kilometer, the South will register fewer and fewer "numbers" in ISTAT's computers, but it offers an infinitely greater real value. 2. Industrial Services vs. Natural Beauty: In the North, you pay (often a lot) for an efficient corporate machine: transportation, geometric rows of beach umbrellas, nightclubs, and swimming pools. The region must over-exploit services to compensate for a geographically disadvantaged sea. People go there for convenience, not for nature. In the South, the main resource is the land itself: crystal-clear waters, millennia of open-air history (from Pompeii to the Valley of the Temples), and a food culture based on unrivaled raw materials. Hospitality is human warmth, not an assembly line. In conclusion: Continuing to say that the North "wins" summer tourism in Italy is like saying that a fast-food restaurant is the best in the world just because it sells more sandwiches than a Michelin-starred restaurant. The North has the quantity and industrial capacity. The South has quality, history, and beauty. When you look at the rankings, always remember to consider the real story behind those numbers..."HAVE A NICE WEEKEND".FORZA NAPOLI SEMPRE .💙

The Neapolitan Courser (or Courser of the Sun) isn't necessarily black. It's an ancient and prestigious horse breed originating in Campania, famous throughout Europe between the 15th and 18th centuries. Color: The coat of the Neapolitan horse varied greatly; it could be bay, chestnut, gray, or roan. If you mean a completely black horse (called a black coat), the most famous breeds are the Friesian or the Murgese. Symbol: The "Course of the Sun" is the prancing horse that serves as the historic emblem of the city and people of Naples. This proud steed was also originally the symbol adopted by the Napoli football team at its founding. There are very few registered specimens of true Neapolitan Horses, approximately 30 in the world.
