We're 5 next month, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect and highlight the fact that our longevity, in a world where businesses open and unfortunately close in a heartbeat, has only been possible because of the amazing community we've managed to foster with you, our members, over that time.
From opening our little studio, to reaching our first 10 and then 15 members, to building a base of hundreds of members, opening our second reformer studio, hosting overseas retreats, running community donation classes, volunteering yoga at our local homeless charity in Canning Town, Teacher Trainings and Yoga in the Sky sessions high above the city at the Lantern Room not to mention our little City Island studio featuring in the Take That documentary, there is so much more than we sometimes realise that goes into supporting a business like Hum.
We know you have more choice than ever when it comes to wellness, but as I sit here reflecting on everything we've achieved together over the last five years, I can't help but feel a real sense of pride. Not just for what Hum has become, but for the longevity we've achieved together.
Thank you for choosing us, supporting us, and helping shape the community that Hum is today.
Keep your eyes peeled, we've got lots of celebrations in store for our community as we mark 5 years of Hum. Here's to the next 5, which we will be spending in our purpose built 3000sq ft studios on the banks of the River Thames, Good Luck Hope, City Island.

300 classes for Nicolo 🎉
A huge milestone and one that deserves celebrating, photographed at yesterday’s rocket yoga with
Nicolo brings such great energy into the studio every single time he walks through the door. Always uplifting, always positive, and just genuinely a really good presence to be around. People like this are a huge part of what makes this community feel so special.

As part of the Islander Festival, hum is bringing movement to the waterfront with a free mat Pilates session at Orchard Dock.
Start your day at 7am with the calm of the water beside you, fresh air, gentle movement and a chance to wake up the body in the most nourishing way. Expect mindful Pilates designed to awaken and energise the body creating space to move, breathe and ease into the day together.
Everyone is welcome. Just bring a mat and join us waterside.

Join us on our annual Italian Wellness Retreat, an unhurried week on the Tuscany/ Umbria border, of connection, movement, nourishment and deep rest, the kind of quiet that only the Italian countryside can offer.

Mental Health Awareness Week starts tomorrow, but caring for our mental wellbeing is something we believe belongs in every week of the year.
At hum, movement, rest, connection and conversation have always been at the heart of what we do. We know that yoga and meditation aren't a solution to life's challenges, but creating space to breathe, slow down, feel supported and be together can make a real difference.
Throughout this week, we'll be offering a series of free yoga and meditation sessions, mindful moments and small acts of care for our community, simply as an invitation to pause and check in with yourself and each other.
Because we understand mental health isn't just a campaign or a hashtag. It's the quiet conversations, the courage to ask for help, the moments of rest, the feeling of being seen, and the reminder that none of us are meant to do life alone.
Whether you join us on the mat, or simply take five minutes for yourself this week we hope you find a little space to breathe
