Happy Pancake Day!
Here is our go to protein pancake recipe so you can keep on track of hitting your protein goals whilst enjoying some epic pancakes.
This makes one serving:
30g vanilla protein powder
1 egg
30g oat flour (blend oats into flour)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp maple syrup
120ml plant based milk
1) Combine the dry ingredients, then whisk the egg and syrup and add that.
2) Start to pour in the milk and whisk so it combines smoothly into a pancake batter. You might not need the full 120ml.
3) Cook your pancakes! We like to use a little coconut oil for those healthy fat.
4) Top with plenty of fresh fruit, natural yoghurt and peanut butter and you’ve got yourself a tasty, high protein treat!
