Why do we worry about what others think if we decide to start or try something new?

They’re not walking in your shoes.

This poem kicks me each & every day. When you think of stalling, coming up with excuses, read it, take a deep breath & move on.

Take that step. It doesn’t matter what others think. It matters that you are inspired, wanting more, proving you have so much more to offer.

You simply have to believe. And who are you not to be simply fabulous & successful??

It’s not about being perfect, it’s about taking that giant leap of faith & starting.

It’s about running before you can walk.

Flying when your wings aren’t ready.

We’re all too afraid of failure. But failure is how we learn, make it right, do it better.

This I’ve put off far too long. Always tinkering, it’s not ready, it’s not perfect, it’s not…..

There will always be 101 excuses. So just do it. Press go. Stop rewriting & coming up with ideas.

Let’s focus
Take action
And fly

Rome wasn’t made in a day. You have nothing to lose, but when you know what to do & importantly, HOW to do it, then your a step ahead of everyone else.

You’re unique & your idea, journey, experience deserves to be shown.

How scary is that ??

To start before you are even ready.

Before you know what you are doing.

But don't find it scary.
Embrace it & take it for being excited instead.

I hear you. You're mad! Yes, a little crazy, but if you don't give it a go, how will you know?

You might not get it right the first time......
You won't get it right the first time.....
But
You will have started, you'll have taken that first step, and that is the key.

It doesn't need to be perfect.
It doesn't need to be right, you don't have to have everything lined up, ready to go.
It just doesn't happen like that.

You learn
You find your way - it's like going through a maze, you can't see where you are heading, you get lost, but eventually you find your way & know what direction you are going in.

You just have to start.

The choice is yours.
Do something, or do nothing.

When will you start?

You can work it out.

You can do it on your own, or you can do it as part of a collaboration, a team. But only you can get it started & work it out.

What do you need to work out?

Your idea?
How to make it work?
How to get it out there?
Who you are going to sell to?

These are all questions that you can keep asking yourself, you can keep writing it on bits of paper, again & again, but unless you make a concerted effort to take it forward, no one, NO ONE is going to do it for you.

It might take time.
A day, a week, a month, a year.
It's time, it's always moving, and you will either be in the same place next year, or you can make your own reality and change it.

You might not be where you want to be in 6 months, but you will be further ahead than you currently are.

You may think you don't have much of an idea, no control over what you want to do, but you can make the changes needed, even small ones at the beginning will make a difference.

You can do it
You do have a choice
You deserve to be brilliant and shine

What would your life look if you could run your own business?

What freedom would it give you?

Would it make a big difference?

To make change you have to believe you can do it.

Your mindset is everything.

But you have to start at the beginning and build up.

As women, we can struggle with our mindset. Our ability to believe we can do it, do anything, that we can succeed, that it's possible.

I'm not sure why we think that. Subliminal messages received when we are younger, good girls keep quiet, children are seen and not heard and more.

So how is your mindset? It's something that needs constant work. Everyday is a challenge. From how you feel, hearing the news, everyday life, our hormones (dare I say it!).

So how can you improve your mindset? I've a list of books that are on my bookcase, as well as various podcasts. The list is stuck to the top of the Facebook group. Come on in & say hi, and see if any of the books should be on your reading list.

When did you last challenge yourself?

Push yourself out of your comfort zone?

Make a phone call to connect with someone?

Ask a question & not feel 'silly or stupid'?

Do something that you don't normally do?

Why don't you like challenging yourself?
You know you could do it.

When you run your own business, in the beginning there is only you. That's a challenge.
You're in charge of EVERYTHING.
Only you to make the decisions.
How would that make you feel?

Would you be up for the challenge?

Finance
Dispatch
Customer service

All of those areas are challenging. But rewarding.

When women work together, amazing things happen.
When they lift and build each other up, anything is possible.

I've followed many business women, seen how they can support each other, learnt and followed their directions.

If you find the right group, the right support, you feel comfortable, can share your dreams and aspirations, and they with you too.

They'll keep you going when it all seems to be too hard, too much like hard work, you don't know where to turn.

But when you are all at the beginning, and some are infront, they'll have learnt the lessons you need to learn, their shared knowledge will help you get over that bump, that hurdle, and you can keep going until you get to the next one!

And there is always another hurdle in the distance!!
