Why do we expect ourselves to develop as leaders alone?
In other areas of high performance, external support is completely normal.
Coaches.
Mentors.
Supervision.
Advisers.
Peer challenge.
Reflective practice.
Not because capable people are incapable of developing themselves.
But because there are things about ourselves that are extraordinarily difficult to see from the inside.
Sometimes we need someone to notice the pattern.
Challenge the assumption.
Ask the uncomfortable question.
Reflect the evidence back to us.
Or simply create the environment where we can practise something different.
Because Leadership Identity isn’t strengthened by insight alone.
It is strengthened when we recognise what’s happening, practise a different response, gather evidence and keep practising until that response becomes increasingly available to us; even under pressure.
That’s one of the roles of The Third Layer™.
You are doing the work.
But you don’t have to do all of the seeing, challenging and strengthening alone.
Because you cannot intentionally strengthen what you haven’t yet learned to recognise.
💜 Curious about what you might need to recognise in your own leadership? Take the Leadership Capacity Assessment to discover which capacity may be asking to be strengthened next.

What if the thing keeping you stuck isn’t a lack of confidence... or another missing strategy?
For years, I’ve watched ambitious women:
• Delay decisions.
• Stay invisible.
• Undercharge.
• Overthink.
• Wait until they feel “ready.”
They already knew what to do.
The question was...
Why was it still so difficult to do it consistently?
Over the past year, I’ve been quietly developing something that has finally given language to what I’ve been witnessing for years.
I’ve called it The Third Layer - 7 Leadership Capacities™️.
The Visibility Gap Intensive is where I’ll be introducing them for the first time and exploring one simple question:
Which leadership capacity is asking to grow before your next breakthrough can happen?
If you’ve ever felt there’s a gap between what you’re capable of and how consistently you’re showing up, I’d love you to join us.

What if you’re trying to solve the wrong problem?
So many ambitious women tell me they need:
✨ Better branding.
✨ Better marketing.
✨ More confidence.
✨ More visibility.
Those things all have their place.
But I’ve discovered something much deeper.
The Third Layer™ doesn’t help women discover who they are.
I think that’s too simplistic.
Instead, it helps women to:
💜 Recognise who they already are.
💜 Accept what they already know about themselves.
💜 Embody that identity consistently.
💜 Lead from that place.
Why does this matter?
Because visibility magnifies identity.
If you don’t fully accept yourself as a leader, more visibility creates discomfort.
If you don’t fully accept yourself as an expert, more visibility fuels imposter syndrome.
If you don’t fully accept your influence, more visibility often leads to self-sabotage.
That’s why so many women find themselves:
• Constantly tweaking their website.
• Changing their niche… again.
• Rewriting their bio.
• Taking another course.
• Searching for the next strategy.
Not because they’re incapable.
But because they’re trying to solve an identity problem with strategy.
At some point, the next breakthrough isn’t another marketing tactic.
It’s strengthening the woman behind the strategy.
That’s where The Third Layer™ begins.
Tell me honestly… have you ever caught yourself looking for another strategy, when what you really needed was to believe in the woman already holding it? 💜
