A Friday morning home match: DL Purley brought not only some great tennis but also a wonderfully sociable post-match lunch. Although our Midweek 3s battled hard and lost 4–0, both teams certainly made up for it off the court, enjoying four bottles of Prosecco between them. A great afternoon of tennis, good company, and plenty of laughs!

Midweek 1 had a draw away at Grafton while Ladies 3 fought hard on court and one of the players was rushing for her seat inside the Center Court. 💜🎾🔥

On Day 14 of the Championship, our Men’s 5 and Ladies 1 both fought hard but narrowly lost 1–3 to Norbury and Limpsfield, respectively, under the scorching sun.

Despite the results, the determination and team spirit on display were outstanding. On to the next match! ☀️💪🎾🍓

Our members enjoyed our Strawberries & Cream Social yesterday. It was a HOT one, but we rounded off the afternoon with refreshing Pimm’s and delicious burgers. Special thank you to Natasha, Kim and Jane. We’re now looking forward to hearing all about your experiences during the Wimbledon fortnight! 💙💜💚🎾
