Here’s a special behind-the-scenes video from the demonstration track recording day, featuring a fun and imaginative new song for younger voices by Andrew Blyth.

Jacob’s Tale brings to life the Bible story of Jacob’s dream at Bethel (Genesis 28:10–22), helping children connect with this powerful reminder of God’s presence and promises. Through music, the story unfolds in a way that is both engaging and meaningful, encouraging young hearts to discover that God is always with us—wherever we go.

This song is one of six included in Sing to the Lord (Children’s Voices) Volume 32, a wonderful resource for nurturing faith through song.

Matthew gathers three of his (favourite?) ISB colleagues together to talk all things International Staff Band in the latest episode of Fully Scored.

We learn about the commitment involved in being a Staff Bandsman as well as finding out what goes on when they’re not on stage. The chat approaches the topic of how a staff band manages to stay relevant in proclaiming the gospel in the 21st century and we are privy to behind-the-scenes details of weekends away and rehearsals from the longest-serving Staff Bandsman – Nigel Hills, the youngest Staff Bandsman – Harry Stubbs and the new Staff Bandmaster – Jonathan Evans.

'Face to face' is a beautiful two-verse arrangement of Grant C. Tullar’s timeless tune, inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:12 and beloved by Salvationists through Albert Orsborn’s hymn 'Saviour, if my feet have faltered'.

This a reflective, expressive piece that is accessible for most ensembles while still deeply moving. A perfect reminder of our faith journey and dedication to serve the Master with a faithful heart.

Enjoy this short except from this piece, one of four in the June 2026 Unity Series journal.

🎶 Take a look and listen to this brand-new song 🎶

This uplifting piece is one of seven featured in the latest edition of the Sing to the Lord – Mixed Voices Series.

It marks fifteen years since Neil Winton (Felixstowe) and Andrew Wicker (Swindon) first had a work published together in this journal—a wonderful milestone to celebrate!

The song draws its inspiration from a powerful video message shared during the COVID pandemic by Commissioner Anthony Cotterill, then Territorial Commander of the UK and Ireland Territory. Reflecting on Acts 16, where Paul and Silas sang praises to God despite being imprisoned and suffering, he reminded us that “now is the time to sing”— even in the most challenging circumstances.

That message remains just as relevant today. This bright and positive song serves as a strong testimony and a reminder of the power of praise, whatever we may be facing.

🙌 Why not try using it with your choir?
