​We are proud to share the achievements of our sparring team on Day 2 of the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗲𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 on Sunday.

​What an incredible day at the 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗴 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀𝗮𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀! We are thrilled to announce that our team of 16 won the Second Place Team Trophy yesterday.

The heat was on, but our athletes stayed cool, focused, and sharp. We are incredibly proud of the confidence and discipline shown on the mat by everyone.

A special shout-out from Master Chi goes to 𝗡𝗼𝗮𝗵 𝗠𝗮, whose hard work and commitment in training are paying off. Noah delivered a strong performance in the individual category, battling through a field of 19 competitors to reach the final round!

We are delighted to welcome three new members to the Nomad Black Belt Club — 𝗟𝗲𝗼, 𝗞𝗲𝗼𝗻 and 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗮 — who have successfully achieved their Black Belt. In addition, 𝗔𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻, 𝗝𝗶𝗻𝗺𝗶, 𝗞𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗮 and 𝗦𝘂𝗻-𝗬𝗶 have reached the significant milestone of attaining their 3rd Dan.

Behind every smile and celebration lies a journey built on hard work, discipline and unwavering dedication. The path to these achievements is demanding and often challenging, but the personal growth, sense of accomplishment and lifelong memories make every moment of effort truly worthwhile.

Congratulations to all of our students on these fantastic achievements. Your commitment, perseverance and positive attitude continue to make the entire Nomad family incredibly proud.

Today was also a celebration of the achievements of students from Cambridge Taekwondo, ICON Taekwondo, FIRE Taekwondo, Loughton Taekwondo, Peak Performance Taekwondo, Putney Taekwondo, Tuji Taekwondo and Yamang Taekwondo. You all performed exceptionally well and are a true credit to your clubs and instructors.

Finally, a sincere thank you to Master Chi of Nomad Taekwondo, Master Azim of EMPSI Taekwondo, Master Dave of Tuji Taekwondo and Master Chan of Loughton Taekwondo for presiding over a grading of high standard. We're delighted to welcome the newest athletes selected as a three-month trial for the British Taekwondo GB Poomsae Performance Team.

After impressing at Regional Poomsae Training sessions, these talented young athletes have earned the opportunity to train in our high-performance environment as they begin the next stage of their development.

South Korea is the birthplace of modern Taekwondo, and this September, the world's premier Poomsae athletes will assemble in Chuncheon for the 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀𝗮𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀—the pinnacle of competition in the discipline.

​Out of 34 elite athletes selected from 19 clubs nationwide to represent Great Britain, we are incredibly proud to announce that four of our very own students have made the GB World Team!

𝗔𝗻-𝗬𝗶, 𝗦𝗸𝘆𝗲 and 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 arrived at the National Taekwondo Centre in Manchester today for their very first trial training session with the GB National Poomsae Squad.

They are working incredibly hard during a rigorous four-hour training alongside elite GB Poomsae athletes.

We are delighted to announce that three of our next-generation athletes — 𝗔𝗻-𝗬𝗶, 𝗦𝗸𝘆𝗲 and 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 — have been invited to a three-month trial with the GB National Poomsae Squad at the National Taekwondo Centre in Manchester.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗦𝗜 & 𝗡𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗲𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿

We welcomed students from 𝗡𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗱, 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗦𝗜, 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘, 𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗡, 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗼𝗻, 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗣𝘂𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘆, 𝗧𝘂𝗷𝗶 and 𝗬𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴 for our annual 𝗗𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 on Sunday, 17th May. The intensive five-hour training covered all disciplines required for the forthcoming July Dan Grading.

Under the guidance and watchful eyes of 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘇𝗶𝗺, 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗲 and 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶, the candidates were thoroughly challenged and pushed to perform at their very best throughout the seminar.

The standard displayed by every student was high and reflects the dedication, commitment and hard work of both the students and their instructors in preparing for this important milestone.
