One of the biggest mistakes people make with training is trying to come to the gym more than what their schedule allows or thinking that coming 5/6 times is the correct amount.
If your schedule allows you to then go for it but for most people who want to lose a bit of fat generally 3/4 times a week is more than enough.
Better to have 3 quality sessions that come 6 days a week doing nonsense

Most people want to lose weight and some not all aren’t lazy, the reason it hasn’t happened is because it requires some structure and accountability and without that you’ll give yourself every excuse in the book to avoid doing some of the work

If the goal is to build muscle or lose fat the training remains the same
What will be different is the calorie deficit and overall activity. High reps low weight to tone is a myth.
Lifting needs to be heavy regardless of the goal
Struggling to lose fat ? Keep watching the main thing is nailing the basics over a consistent period of time, it can get demotivating but those small actions consistently turn into something big
I don’t know many people who have a regular restaurant they go to an order something different every time, most recycle between 5/6 different options
Use that same logic for eating for fat loss, it eating healthy doesn’t mean it has to be bland, I’d question your cooking skills first. It’ll be worthwhile initially to eat the same thing for a while as it’s easier to track and gives a better understanding of what you’re consuming calorie and macro wise

Most people in the gym have a structure issue, you have a goal and want to achieve fat loss but you don’t know where to start so you jump on whatever machine is free and hope for the best
Fat loss is simpler than what a lot of people make out, you don’t need to live in the gym or cut out every food. You just need a training plan and nutrition that works with your lifestyle and someone checking you’re on track

Majority of people think that because they’re not eating takeaways every night that their food is alright, most times it’s not.
At a very basic level each meal you have should have a source of protein, a good source of carbs and healthy fats doing that over a period time is a good starting point
Of course at some point it’ll be useful to calculate your calories for more accuracy but for now getting the fundamentals right will do
