I honestly didn’t know what I could expect from my body today - I won’t bother explaining yet again how unwell I’ve been for the past few months (and years lol) so after a particularly bad week on strong antibiotics and still waiting on my cycle, the plan was to run this at roughly next week’s target half marathon pace.
Overall happy with this! It was always going to be harder than it should’ve but grateful for every race I’m able to actually start and finish, so for me.. a win! 🫶🏼 we go again next weekend 🏃🏼♀️

From ZERO triathlon experience to becoming an IRONMAN 70.3 finisher🤯❤️
Swipe through to see Anya’s journey.
When Anya joined me, she’d only been training for around 3 months. She had a huge goal... crossing the finish line at IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton.
Like so many first-time triathletes, she wasn’t lacking motivation. She just needed a plan.
At our first consultation we identified exactly what was holding her back:
🏃♀️ Running was her least confident discipline.
🚴♀️ She lacked structure across all three sports.
🍌 She hadn’t worked out her race nutrition or general fueling strategy.
🧠 She wanted more confidence, especially on the bike.
So that’s exactly what we worked on.
✅ A structured training plan with purpose behind every session.
✅ Gradually building bike confidence instead of rushing the process.
✅ Race pace sessions across swim, bike and run so race day didn’t feel unfamiliar.
✅ Practising nutrition during training until she knew exactly what worked.
✅ Strength training to stay healthy and resilient (and some awesome PBs along the way 💪🏼).
✅ Weekly check-ins and adjustments as training progressed.
Along the way she smashed a 1:44 half marathon, proving just how much her fitness had developed 🏃🏼♀️
Then, a few days before race day, we jumped on a Zoom call to go through everything. Logistics, pacing, nutrition, transitions, race-day nerves... making sure she arrived on that start line feeling calm, prepared and confident.
Because coaching isn’t just about writing a programme.
It’s about giving someone the confidence to believe they’re capable of something they’ve never done before.
And… Anya smashed BOLTON IRONMAN 70.3💙
I couldn’t be prouder of the work she put in since we started together in October! She trusted the process, stayed consistent and earned every single moment of that finish line.
Congratulations Anya. What an incredible achievement. 🎉🏊🚴🏃
If you’ve got a big endurance goal and don’t know where to start, send me a DM with the word TRI and let’s make it happen 🤝

Just another week of being failed by the medical system, with yet another round of antibiotics and a slight mental breakdown thrown in there too yesterday 😅
Super grateful to be well enough to run today and finish with a gorgeous sunset 🌇
Realistically it’s going to be a while before we can find a fix to keep me healthy so until then got to keep trying and stay positive as much as possible 🤷🏼♀️ I’ll enjoy however long I have of feeling good before the next round inevitably happens lol
If anyone has a genie spare, let me know as all my 3 wishes would just to be permanently healthy and free of having to deal with this😂
