They say chocolate makes everything better, and judging by the celebrations from World Chocolate Day across our , we'd have to agree! πŸ«πŸ’œ

From baking homemade chocolate biscuits and enjoying chocolate fondue to tasting favourite chocolate bars, watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, reminiscing over vintage sweet wrappers and indulging in delicious chocolate treats, our wonderful residents certainly made the most of the day!

A big well done to our all of our fantastic teams, with a special mention for Brackenbridge House , Lucton House Care Home , Kingfisher House Care Home , The Triangle Care Home , Queensway House Care Home , Acton Care Centre , Drayton Village Care Centre and Hungerford Care Home for making the day so special.

It's amazing how something as simple as chocolate can bring people together, spark happy memories and put smiles on faces. Happy World Chocolate Day! 🍫✨

June brought plenty of reasons to celebrate across our homes, with lots of special moments shared together along the way πŸ’œ

We marked Care Home Open Week by welcoming visitors into our homes, celebrated Pride Month with colourful activities and conversations, and enjoyed making Father's Day a memorable one for the wonderful father figures in our community 🌈

There was also time for some light hearted fun as we tucked into National Fish and Chips Day, got creative for National Cheese Day, and found lots of other reasons to smile throughout the month πŸ§€πŸŸ

Here's a little look at what June had in store across our homes πŸ“Έ

It was a wonderful celebration of a lifetime of love, treasured memories and the beautiful journey they have shared together. What made it even more beautiful was the couple surrounded by our wonderful residents and staff as well as their loved ones.
