Love the journey.
You're on it for a while.
I don’t mean it’ll take a long time to get results.
I mean ProPhysiques sets you up for life.
So learning to love the journey is key.
Probably one of the most important gifts any coach could give you.
Rather than thinking about it in terms of wanting your pro card…
Or wanting to take home a trophy…
These are external validations.
Instead, ask yourself what the pros do - and how you can learn to love doing THAT daily.
Nutrition, training, recovery, supplementation protocols, how you carry yourself, your mindset…
All of that.
The internal processes and daily actions need your attention.
Get those things right, and the results will come as a byproduct.
In fact, it will be inevitable.
You won’t be able to STOP being successful!
“The man who loves walking will walk further than the man who loves the destination”
Control what you can.
And learn to love the behaviours that will make you a success
If you are Looking to compete in 2023 or even 2024 then drop us a message or click the book now button to start your journey with Pro Physiques

Isabelle 10 weeks into her prep for PCA
Consistency and Hard Work = Results
No ‘fancy’ or ‘trendy’ workouts to try and show off on social media.
Lifting heavy and training to failure whilst each week progressing her volume just that little bit more.
Nutrition on point 90% of the time with single ingredient and whole foods with some flexibility to eat foods that are a little more fun at weekends.
To be a Pro and a Champion you have to act like one long before you become one…only the best and most disciplined will succeed in this sport, there is no room for half arsed effort.
Isabelle has a no excuse mentality and gets what she needs to get done….done 🔥
Always wanting to level up her knowledge she is constantly messaging myself or Charlie about how she can improve, how she can be more prepared and ultimately is prepared to do everything in her power to become that champion.
Still a long way to go, but if the last 10 weeks are anything to go by then in the next 18 weeks she is going to look even more phenomenal!!

Busy in the office today? Forgot to back your lunch, don't sweat it!!
I got you covered 😁
Instead of skipping out on lunch completly, which will increase hunger levels later (which is a major contribution to overeating late on at night) grab a wrap from the old faithful Tesco
Now they aren't massively cheap but they will be enough to curb that hunger and prevent you from overeating later on
They actually pack a punch when it comes to protein (Chicken and Bacon is 23.4g)
..skip the meal deal though and just get the wrap and some fruit instead 💪
MOST OF ALL... don't forget to prep your lunch for tomorrow!

Where are you in the world and what you got planned?

MOVIES CAN BE MOTIVATING 🎥
Okay, so hear me out on this one
Yes, movies are a great way to relax and take your mind off of things…🍿
…But they can also be mega inspiring and big motivators that can inspire action! 💪🏼
Take the movie Rocky, specifically Rocky 4 for example 🥊
Whenever I watch it, especially the ‘Training Montage’ scene I just want to run up some snowy mountains 🏔 (or maybe just hit the gym)
What's a movie that pumps you up and gets you back in the mood to train? 🤓

(SCREENSHOT THIS POST) to remind yourself that keeping it simple is often the best way to get the results you want
Following the latest trendy diet or copying the most popular workout by your insta fitspo can more offer than not lead to frustration
Why?
It’s likely they don’t eat that way or train that way to get the results they have..
They simply spout crap about the best diet and the most unique way to train for ‘your body type’
…simply because it gets more likes and follows on social media as it’s more “sexy” then the simple way
🥘 Keep your food nutritious and simple
🍳 Eat all 3 Macronutrients (Protein, Carbs, Fat)
🍉 Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables
💧 Drink Lots of Water
😴 Sleep as much as you need
🛌 Rest and let your body recover
⛰ Get outside and enjoy the fresh air
🏋🏽♀️ Focus on compound movements 3/4 times per week when training
🍩 Still enjoy the foods you love from time to time

Your friend Karen swears by Keto (this could also be any other kind of diet)
She swears by it because every time she goes back onto it, she always loses weight
Without fail, which she loves
The thing is, she’s gone back onto Keto A LOT
It should make you think though and ask her the question
“If your diet works so well and is so good, why do you have to keep going “back” to it”?
“If it was working so well, why did you ever leave”?
HERE’S THE KICKER
ANY diet will work if you are in a Calorie Deficit
ANY OF THEM AND ALL OF THEM WORK
What you should be mindful of is how sustainable this diet is for you
“But how do I know if a diet is sustainable or not”? you may ask
Ask yourself these questions:
Can I see myself eating like this for the rest of my life?
If the answer is yes, then this is great, you have found a sustainable diet that suits you
If the answer is no, then its not for you and you won’t be able to sustain this type of diet without ‘falling off the wagon’
You may achieve short term results with an unsustainable approach, but you will always keep stopping and starting, which itself is highly unsustainable
The idea is to find a way of eating that works for you over a long period, basically the rest of your life
Follow this approach and you won’t NEED to go on a ‘diet’
You can eat the foods you love all whilst working towards your goals
Does this ring true?

Enjoying the morning sea breeze with my boy 🐶
Morning PT on the beach with this one is always fun 🥰
It’s been a strange 3 weeks since the doctors told me that I have ME/CFS, it’s been a period of trial and error to see how I react to certain things
I’d like to just say thank you to SOOO many people who have reached out to me to discuss the way they cope with living with this horrible illness, it means so much and your advice has been priceless.
I’m 100% ANTI DIET and don’t believe you should cut any foods out of your daily nutrition (unless you have a medical condition or an intolerance)
So it’s been a big shock to me that I’ve had to cut certain foods out of my diet (temporarily) to see how my body reacts.
I cut out the sweetner, dairy, gluten and wheat to start with and though the symptoms and feelings of aches and tiredness didn’t go away I felt slightly better in myself and my gut problems eased.
I put them all back into my diet and felt terrible again, so it’s a case of testing the water to see how each one effects me.
Training wise it’s very up and down, I’ve been advised not to train like I used to as it makes the condition worse, but I can only train 💯% effort or nothing, that’s just me.
I’m finding 2 days on with a rest is usually ok for me to recover enough, though I’m wiped on that rest day.
Changing my training up and basically going completely REBUILD myself form the core outwards, focusing a lot on methods as he is someone I hugely aspire to.
I basically need to try make myself harder to kill 😎
I had my 3D body scan done with a few weeks back to gauge my start point and I’ll be (reluctantly) posting the results later 😭 not happy with how I’ve let my body basically go “meh”
Thanks again to all that have reached out to me, it means the world to me 💛
