π Rugby is growing!
Over 250,000 young people have been introduced to rugby union in the past year through schools, colleges, Scouts, Guides, and community programmes. Thanks to significant investment from the RFU, almost 300,000 players are now active in clubs across the country.
T1 Rugby continues to play a huge role in making the game more accessible, with over 186,000 young people experiencing rugby in schools and colleges this year alone.
The womenβs and girlsβ game is also thriving, with a 49% increase in age-grade girls' registrations over the last four years and record participation levels across clubs nationwide.
A huge thank you to the volunteers, clubs, schools, coaches, and partners who continue to make rugby welcoming, inclusive, and accessible for all.
The future of the game is looking bright! πͺπ
