The thing they criticised you for is probably your greatest asset.
You were told you shop too much but nobody mentioned that knowing quality, spotting trends and understanding what people want before they know they want it is literally what buyers, stylists and brand founders get paid for.
You were told you are always dressed up but nobody mentioned that having a consistent, considered aesthetic that turns heads in ordinary rooms is a skill most people spend years trying to develop.
You were told you travel too much but nobody mentioned that knowing how to find the best hotels, the hidden restaurants, the experiences worth having is something people will pay a significant amount of money to be guided through.
The woman who was told she was too much, too extra, too focused on the wrong things, she was just operating in the wrong room.
The right room looks at exactly the same qualities and calls them qualifications.
Stop apologising for what you are good at. Start figuring out who will pay you for it.

Your taste has always been ahead of your life.
