🗣️ Comment “PURE” if you want a longer backswing and more consistent contact!

Very simply put, put a box or a circle around your head. Your head should stay in that circle from the front view, and from down the line, think head on the wall. 💥

If your head moves to the right and down from the face on view, you're likely not doing enough of these two things:
1) Leftward tilt (left shoulder down) ↙️
2) Extension (chest up) ⬆️

More extension and side tilt help keep the axis of the shoulder turn stable and make the backswing longer.

And the result is a simpler, more efficient swing that can help you hit the ball farther while improving your solidness of contact. 💪

Comment "PURE" to learn the secret to effortless power with the driver!

The Stack&Tilt 10 Word swing template is so simple, a child could learn and implement it...and you can apply it to every club in your bag ⛳️

The same 10 words apply to the driver. 👍

The ball is going to be a little bit more forward with the driver — closer to that lead shoulder.

Now we just implement the first 2 words of those 10 words.

"Weight Forward" — so I've got my lower body pushed further forwards...pushing my pelvis a little more ahead of my upper body.

This move creates a small amount of spine tilt, which is key to hitting the driver properly 📐

That's contrary to how you're typically told to do the driver, which is to set up and then lean your upper body back ❌

That is a catastrophic failure in learning how to hit the driver.

The way that you move the weight forward with the driver is via pushing the lower body forwards ➡️💥

🗣 Comment 'PURE' if you're tired of hitting weak shots that aren’t compressed!

Most players are leaving massive distance and consistency on the table because they're stuck on the back foot at impact.

You've probably been told to "stay behind the ball" or "don't slide forward." This outdated advice is killing your ability to strike it pure. 🎯

Here's what Tour players do differently:

1. Get that weight FORWARD 💪
Set up with 60% weight on your lead leg
Feel like you're "falling" toward the target at the top of your backswing
You should aim for 90% of your weight on your front foot at impact

2. Master the Shaft Lean ⬇️
Practice keeping your hands ahead of the club head
The shaft should point at your lead hip at impact

3. Drill It Daily 🔄
10 half-shots with a 7-iron
Focus ONLY on weight transfer and shaft lean
No full swings until you feel solid compression

Start with these fundamentals immediately. You should feel the turf contact AFTER you strike the ball. ✅

🗣 Comment 'PURE' if you want effortless power in your swing!

Rotation = Power 💥

And it all starts with your knees.

To swing in a proper circle around your body, you need these key pieces:
✅ Lead knee bending, trail leg straightening up to the top
✅ No swaying of the pelvis in the backswing

Why? Because we play golf on a tilted angle with bent clubs.

The hands and club must move around you—not straight back.

That circular motion is a huge power source and only happens when you rotate sufficiently via the knees changing flex.

Use the Stack&Tilt grid to visualize the proper hand and club paths.

No sway, clean contact, effortless power 💪

🗣️ Comment “PURE” if you want cleaner, more consistent ball striking!

Get the weight location correct at setup, at the top, and at impact — and watch your ball striking improve dramatically. 💥

Here’s exactly what I would do:
Turn both feet out at setup, paying particular attention to flaring the lead foot. 👣

Flaring the feet helps turn the knees out, which helps keep the weight more forward during the swing.

When the feet are too straight, the legs tend to collapse in the backswing — leading to the sway away from the target that we don’t want. ❌

Next, start with more weight on the lead side. At least 60% of your weight should be on the lead side at setup. That’s something you consistently see in great ball strikers.

Then in the backswing...feel like the lead shoulder, lead knee, and lead ankle all stay stacked in one column.

Those alignments help keep the weight forward, control the low point, and lead to much more consistent contact. ✅

🗣️ Comment “PURE” to learn how to train better rhythm into your golf swing!

Controlling the finish and stopping in a very particular spot is key to improving your rhythm.

We always have to start by defining that end point specifically, and then we'll work through the clubs to help you train this rhythm into your swing.

We'll start with a pitching wedge here. As the speed of the swing increases with the longer clubs, your ability to control these forces becomes more difficult — so doing this with a wedge is distinctly easier than doing it with a driver. 👍

Take your setup and move into a follow through with the following checkpoints in mind.

Number one, both arms are straight and the trail arm is parallel to the ground. We're not going to swing past this point. 🏌

At the same time, the shoulders are turned about 90 degrees towards the target.

There’s been no roll or release of the wrists through impact. The alignment with the lead arm and the shaft being straight....and the trail arm underneath the lead arm....is taken all the way to that same position.

No roll, no flip—just learning to control the forces into the follow through with immediate improvements in ball striking consistency ✔️

🗣️ Comment “PURE” if you want to compress the ball like the best players!

Driver vs. Iron — the lead shoulder “dot” difference.

If you look at the best players in the world and pay attention to their lead shoulder, you’ll notice something important.

If we put a dot on the lead shoulder at setup, and another at impact, you’ll see that with the driver, those two dots line up closely. The only difference is that the lead shoulder at impact is slightly higher.

But when you look at iron swings, you’ll see the lead shoulder at impact is also a little more forwards. That forward movement is what helps them hit down on the ball and compress it properly.

So think about the lead shoulder differently depending on the club:

With the driver:
Lines up more closely to setup, but slightly higher ⬆️
..helping you create a shallow attack angle

With irons, hybrids and woods:
Works slightly more forwards ➡️
..helping you to hit down on the ball and compress it 👍

🗣️ Comment “PURE” if you want to compress the ball better and strike it solid more often!

This drill improves the quality and consistency of your ball striking in just a few swings—even though it looks extreme at first.

There are two key skills every great ball striker has:
• Weight far enough forward on the lead leg at impact
• Preservation of forward shaft lean through impact

Most golfers struggle to coordinate those two things… and that’s exactly what this drill fixes.

Take a tee peg and place it 5–6 inches in front of the ball, more or less in line with your lead foot. Start with a short iron like a 9 iron—this drill works for every club you hit from the ground.

Now remove the ball—then set up to where the ball would normally be and make swings trying to strike the tee 🎯

To do that, you must move your weight forward. If you hang back with your weight, the low point moves behind the ball (fats and thins) and you’ll never reach the tee.

You also need to maintain forward shaft lean. If you flip/scoop, the club will come away from the ground before it ever reaches the tee.

A few swings like this will give you a sensation you may have never felt before:
How far forward the weight really needs to be and how far forward the shaft needs to lean at impact ✔️

Once you can consistently strike the tee, add the ball back in and make the same swing.

Weight forward. Shaft forward. Compress the ball.

This is what great ball striking actually feels like—and once you feel it, you’ll never practice the same way again. 👍
