sometimes we see the peak of the mountain for people but we don’t actually know the journey and struggle to get there
the version of me that you see now is not who i was 5-6 years ago but i love that version because she didn’t give up and now i get to be this person.
you really have to love the version and place you’re at right now because growth doesn’t happen in dark rooms and through self criticism, it happens when you hold space for light and you love and understand yourself

oi that journal prompt at the end had me balling because sometimes something really sh*tty happens and then you realise its for the best
even in the trenches of my grief i’ve found a layer of myself that i would of never of met. flip your perspective and you may be surpised.

a morning in the life: teaching yoga in landannn
i was meant to be up at 6 but i accidentally turned my alarm off and went back to sleep
i only had time for a tiny practice but it was better than nothing, i had an early morning 1-1 with a great student i’ve been teaching for a few years then onto my second home Phoenix.
I love this group class, always the friendliest most welcoming energy🥹🫶🏽

i had the biggest growth in my business this year during June, i felt so abundant and blessed but i kept getting signs that i need to let go, new beginnings are coming and prepare to grieve the past
it felt so bittersweet but now it makes sense, i actually themed a class around this…
it’s like when you get new toys as a kid but your parents make you get rid of some old ones first. its like ERGH i want both but you cant have new shiny toys (blessings) if you’re holding onto the old ones (self limiting beliefs, stagnant places and misaligned people)

a day in the life of a London based yoga teacher who kept forgetting that the task at hand was to film the day🙈
this day was chaos, i crashed out the day before and this day was like the dust settling again and trying to regulate. what made me feel better was teaching and moving my body
i taught a 1-1, it was at their home so i couldnt take you in with me. a group class at moreyoga which i love teaching at and some admin because these classes don’t promote themselves!
and i realised i spelt appointment wrong but im not going to change it so enjoy that

i talk about this a lot so you probably know the answer but don’t let your phone put you in a bad mood before you’ve even had a chance to fully wake up. set the tone of the day yourself!
👉🏽 making my bed and putting in effort
it’s one of your first tasks of the day. you do it sloppy, rushed and without care then the actions that follow will be the same. make your bed in the same way you want your day to go
👉🏽 affirmations while i do my skincare + brushing teeth
the action of taking care of your skin and teeth is an act of self care so make it into a ritual where you tell yourself affirmations
👉🏽 using my calendar, notion and reminders to plan my week
this is a massive one for me, it stops me from feeling overwhelmed, anxious or forgetting things. especially running my own business i need to stay on top of things
👉🏽 prioritising movement not just yoga but walking too
walking clears my head so much, i loving walking to and from class it allows me to feel grounded
👉🏽 intentionally spending time alone
i’m an introvert and i best recharge when alone. its not personal to anyone i just need a day or at least an afternoon of silence, non verbal, on mute

teaching corporate yoga for a few workplaces and a cosy evening flow and restore at the studio 🫂
