This Sunday Sam and Katie take on the London Marathon.
They’ll be out there together (going head to head) but this one’s about more than the race.
They’re raising £5,000 for Muscular Dystrophy and Children with Cancer, causes that have been part of Sam’s life for a long time.
Sam grew up alongside his mate Martin, playing football, going to Scouts and watching The Blades. But Martin lived with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which meant he had to live much of his life in a wheelchair. Martin sadly passed away at the age of 16, after facing an aggressive cancer in his final years.
For Sam and Katie, London Marathon is about doing their bit to raise as much money as they can for these two charities.
If you are able, please donate generously using the link in our bio!
Good luck to Sam & Katie 💪
