Time to change my profile photo after 2 years. Of course, it had to be from the same beach in Benalmádena, Málaga… because I love my routines 😂

My body was craving some spinal articulation today. Semi Circles on the Reformer were exactly what I needed. Felt better straight afterwards 🤍

Are we rowing today? 😅🚣♀️

Slow and controlled. Never random. Every movement has a purpose.
First, the arms push the carriage away while the shoulders and wrists act as the pivot, creating spring tension. Then the knees continue to push the carriage even further away as the hips extend.
On the way back, everything returns slowly, one step at a time. Mind and body truly connect, and everything slows down. 🙏🏻

Play time with my Tower 💙
Getting ready for my Tower class. Testing everything on my own body first, of course 🤓
Little video from my Tower+ Fundamentals class at SMK Pilates Studio 🤍
I thought I’d share them to give you a little insight into the Tower. Most people know Mat Pilates and the Reformer, but there are so many other pieces of Pilates equipment that are just as brilliant.
Hopefully this gives you a little glimpse of what the Tower is about ✨

A little me time on Reformer.
Same principle with BASI Up Stretch 2 exercise - but this time on forearms, using the short box.
One of my favourite ways to begin a Reformer session: slow, controlled Footwork.
It may look simple, but it tells you a lot. It gives you a chance to check in with your body and notice how you feel that day. Do both sides feel balanced? Is one hip, knee, ankle or foot working differently from the other? Are you moving with control and ease?
Footwork is also a wonderful warm-up for the ankles, knees, hips and legs before progressing to more demanding exercises. Performed with control, it can help improve ankle mobility, increase body awareness and establish better movement patterns for the rest of the session.
So many benefits from such a simple exercise. No wonder I love it 🫶🏻

Just thought, once I’d taken the cover off my home Reformer, why not squeeze in a few Tendon Stretches? 😁
