Cauliflower pizza for today's lunch!

-Blended cauliflower (to a rice texture), steam it 5'in the microwave and dry it.
-Add cheese (I used mozzarella but I think a mix of cheeses would work perfect) and 1 egg
-Add Italian spices and salt
-Create your crush shape and bake for around 7-10' (each side) at 150°C until hard.
- Add your favorite toppings (I put some tomato sauce, onion, cheese, fresh tomatoes and smoked ham)
-Bake at 180°C for 10'

Enjoy!!!

M o v e

If you are working from home, if you are the busiest human on earth, you can still use 20' to
m o v e !
Movement makes your mind and body connect, makes the brain focus in 1 physical task rather than being carried away with the stress of your day-to-day.
Can a Bodyweight work out substitute weight training? Hell no! Is it better than doing nothing? Yes! Should you still be lifting weights? Heeell yeess! .

A Bodyweight home workout can:
⚡ Increase your heart rate
⚡ Work on full range of motions
⚡ Focus on tempo/slow rep
⚡ Be really though

Here's a nice little home workout I do when I don't feel like going outside!
👉 4 rounds of:
30" side lunges/Cossac squats
30" shoulder taps
30" jumping squats
*rest 30" in between movements)*
👉 Then, (swipe right for this)
Pistol squat practice (modify by sitting down and standing from a chair)
Tempo push ups (3" going down, 3" in the bottom)

Benefits of Weightlifting:

⚡ It's a SAFE discipline for all levels of fitness, and I mean ALL of them. You, that never lifted weights before, you can do it too!

⚡ Increase strength & explosive power. Raise your hand if you want to get stronger 🖐️

⚡ Increase muscle mass. This involves that your body will be consuming more energy when you don't workout, which means... Higher maintenance calories! Raise your hand if you want more food 🖐️

⚡ Higher bone density and stronger tendoms, less risk of injury and osteoporosis.

⚡ Involves lots of joints and lots of muscles working hard at the same time, as well as balance and coordination.
⚡ It's a beautiful sport and it's so damn fun you'll be doing it because you love it not only because it's good for you.

Oh boy. Life happens, s**t sometimes happens too and your fitness routine gets interrupted.
You, that worked so hard to create that habit of training every week and eating healthy 80% of the time, suddenly have no motivation to get off the coach.
What changed?
Often there's some kind of situation going on at work or at home, and that's affecting your mood. Or maybe you stopped your routine because you went on holidays and you feel like you "lost it".
I've been through a few, so here's my advice on how to go "back on track" :
⚡ SHOW UP TO SOMEONE
Call your gym buddy and schedule a training session, find a personal trainer, register to a class. Just avoid being by yourself. During a time where you don't really want to do things for yourself, at least you will do it because you don't want to let someone else down.
⚡ DO THINGS THAT YOU LIKE
It's time to kinda stay in your comfort zone for a bit. If you love weights (although you know you need to work on your cardio), do weights. If you enjoy a good yoga session, just do that for a while. When you are ready, you'll go back to be uncomfortable and push your limits!
⚡ AVOID FEELING GUILTY
There's no point! Feeling guilty leads to mental blocks that leads to repeat the same behaviors that made you feel guilty in the first place. Take action, move forward. If it doesn't work, take a different action, keep moving forward.

So grateful to have crossed paths with this amazing lady!
Susan has the best sense of humor and extremely high discipline. She travels for almost 2h to me, she shows up every single week. Never cancelled a session.
When I tell her to try a bit harder she says gems like "I don't like what you saying, I'd like to speak to the manager". Or when a stretch is tough and uncomfortable she comes back with a "ouuuch! Spanish inquisition!!"
🤣Man, she's fun.

Susan also has Parkinson's disease, that's the reason why we are working a lot on body control and mobility. Recently she got some financial help from Parkinson's UK, who after speaking to her about us, decided to pay for 8 of our sessions. How awesome is that?! Anyways, I just thought you should know her, she's one of my favorite people! ♥️
