We win another Div 2 club league tour title keeping us top of the 2nd division and on course for promotion next season

☀️ This weekends Club league saw us Host Pedham where the sun actually made a rare appearance !

London got off to a flying start, locking out the Top 11 places in the Absolute category showing our strength and depth . We Also secured the Top 6 in the Rookie categorie, whilst taking 2nd in the seniors and also winning the Junior point ! Congratulations to Aaryan Shah who has made it 2 victories from 2 matches !

Pedham had success in the Women's category, with Hannah Chambers taking the points with a great score of -5.

👏 The biggest plaudits of the day go to Roy Roberts who, not only won the absolute category, but broke the course record with an outrageous score of -19 - becoming the first person to achieve this feat in Competition!

Shoutout to Chris Aldous who scored a terrific -11 to win senior category. Brilliant effort from the Magic Man !

After the strokeplay the score was 16-5 to London, with the matchplay to come and all we need was a Draw in any of the Matchplay to secure victory !

In the singles we had Marian Anghel come up against Marcus Anderson . Marian got off to a flying start and Marcus fought back from being 2 down early doors to level the match but Marian regained composure and secure a 2&1 victory on the 17th.

In the foursomes (alternate shot) we had Aaron Lansiquot and Paul Doonan vs Alun Smith and Chris Aldous The match was very close all the way with some great shots on show! London took the spoils with another 2&1 win.

Pedham saw success in the final matchplay group with Hannah Chambers and Christopher Anderson teaming up for the betterball against Roy Roberts and Leo Lacey, taking the win on the final hole after a close match!

Player of the Day goes to Roy Roberts ! For his amazing score today, and a new course record, with a special mention going to Aaryan Shah

The win sees us move 4 points ahead at the top of the table 👏👏

Our next match see us travel to Richings Park on the 12th of July ! A win there will see us go within 3 points of winning the league with games to spare ! Also there is a tour event for some of the team at the Wiltshire next weekend.
